Prefer him at OC. A promotion for interview purposes. Outstanding at OL development and we need it with our entire OL group. Blue collar HOF background and has been instrumental in Steelers success. If we promote from within at HC I think he is a great get for OC. If we go outside for HC they will want their own staff.

I was thinking of him and what an outstanding job he has done with that Pittsburgh line. Then there is also Tom Cable in Seattle with the same job.

 

I dunno how successful either would be as a new OC. I suspect the Bills will run the ball a whole lot better with either too.

 

But then Gary Kubiak as HC for Buffalo might not be a bad idea.

I assume the Steelers would deny any interview for lateral move. Does adding Assistant Head Coach remove lateral designation? Perhaps Running Game coordinator?
