Oregon is Buckeye country.

No, not the state of Oregon, but the city of Oregon, Ohio, is Buckeye country and the folks who live there want to make that perfectly clear.

Tiny little town to the East of Toledo, right along the lake.

Do also love that they threw in the dig...

Rabbitt, who happens to be a fan of That Team Up North, told the Blade that he will be rooting for the Buckeyes because of their affiliation with the Big Ten.

I spent many nights in Oregon, Ohio when I worked in hydrograhic survey. That's where we would stay when we were sounding the Maumee River/Bay and when we were working the Toussaint River. I know the Western Basin of Lake Erie like the back of my hand... Well, used to, I could probably still pass an Erie Islands test.

So that's where all your weirdness stems from. Ohio is one scary place... Even going back, way back to the settlers on the Toledo Strip... It bleeds into Indiana too, not that Indiana needs any help! :nana::nana:

It's the "Toledo War" that gave the "Toledo Strip" to Ohio and the Upper Pennisula is what Michigan gained (as it stole it away from Wisconsin Territory) in the compromise. I think Michigan got the better of the deal, I'd take the UP! Way more mineral rights and better natural resources! :D
