Franchiseneedsme Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) I just heard the L.F. probably won't be back with the cardinals because of his contract. How scary would he be with Brady.they just opened up a ton of cap room restructuring Bradys deal. And it might only take a mid round pick to grab him. Please no Edited January 4, 2015 by Franchiseneedsme
boyst Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 They will have little to no chance of affording him.
Green Lightning Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 What if Napoleon had B-1 bomber at Waterloo?
Franchiseneedsme Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 About as scary as Brady with Ochocinco.
pepsicat17 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I dont think they could afford him and Revis and a shut-down corner is a nice thing to have, regardless of how many holds he gets away with.
Franchiseneedsme Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 U think Larry is done? He has played with the worst group of QBs in the league and he is still a HOFer. Ocho was stupid, couldn't understand the playbook. LF won't have that problem. If he went there he would put up huge #s. Look at what lafell is doing. And they can afford him if they want to.Brady cleared 24 mill himself next year. The team might even get LF to restructure his deal to play with a HOF qb..just seems like a move the patriots would make
Mr. WEO Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I dont think they could afford him and Revis and a shut-down corner is a nice thing to have, regardless of how many holds he gets away with. I would dump Revis in a second for Fitzgerald.
Omar Little Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) they just opened up a ton of cap room restructuring Bradys deal. No they didn't. Brady's restructure doesn't save New England anything on the cap. http://grantland.com/the-triangle/tom-brady-new-england-patriots-contract/ Edited January 3, 2015 by Heisenberg
KD in CA Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 What if Napoleon had B-1 bomber at Waterloo? I think there's been an "Imagine what Brady will do if WR XXX goes to NE!!" thread every off-season for the past ten years.
Mr. WEO Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I think there's been an "Imagine what Brady will do if WR XXX goes to NE!!" thread every off-season for the past ten years. Well look what happened the last time he had a legit WR (Moss)....
mjohns85 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I have been worried about this for years. Poor Larry, stuck in Arizon with no QB for a long time. If he wasn't such a class act, he would have demanded a trade years ago. Although he is passed his prime, I promise he is better than any WR currently on New Englands roster.
Simon Says Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 At least SOME of you undersrand the salary cap! Thanks for taking the time to do a little research

Doc Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 He's due an $8M roster bonus in March. He'll likely be cut before then. But if I'm him, I go to Seattle instead. Better chance of winning it all.
4merper4mer Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Well look what happened the last time he had a legit WR (Moss).... We get it. You are a huge Patriots fan. Congrats to you. It is weird that you spend so much time on a Bills board.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 So Fitzgerald goes to NE, with Josh Gordon and Adrian Peterson, to join Gronk... Right? Bring it in, Cobra Kai.
aristocrat Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I've always wondered what his career would have been like if brees stayed in san diego and the chargers picked larry instead. They would have been the deadliest combo ever
ndirish1978 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Did you even read the facts about the restructure before posting this? The deal only saves NE some cash flow and actually counts more against the cap.
