Kelly the Dog Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I can't beleive it would be Donnie Henderson or Pepper Johnson with Schwartz still with the team. Does Josh McDaniels have a distant relative from South Carolina??? Schwartz would be all in favor of that.
doro Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) Token, probably. Why? They could not be any worse than Chan or Doug. Edited January 2, 2015 by doro

Does Josh McDaniels have a distant relative from South Carolina??? Isn't it basically covered by virtue of Doug Whaley leading the search and doing the interviews?
Nitro Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) Todd Bowles is a good choice and can be a real hot commodity once the playoffs are over. Edited January 3, 2015 by Nitro
Big C Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Todd Bowles is a good and can be a real hot commodity once the playoffs are over. Or perhaps as soon as tomorrow night!
Rockinon Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Todd Bowles is a good and can be a real hot commodity once the playoffs are over. Agree, but the Bills need someone who can turn this offense around. He's a great defensive coordinator and an excellent HC candidate.
Jauronimo Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Isn't it basically covered by virtue of Doug Whaley leading the search and doing the interviews? Whaley has hired ZERO minority head coaches!!! Hes got the most racist track record in football.
Lord_MacDonald Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) I hope it is Todd Bowles as well. I feel like it would be incredibly frustrating if you were Pepper and you KNEW the only reason you were getting interviewed was to fulfill the requirement and had no real shot at getting the job. I suppose you could argue he gets good practice or whatever, but still that would have to be frustrating. Edited January 3, 2015 by Lord_MacDonald

It's frustrating for someone like Hue Jackson who thinks he has a legitimate chance and realizes he's being used.

With that being said I would think that Pepper would be the guy if they have their eye on someone. If it is someone like Bowles it's because he is being considered.
Jamie Nails Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Why? They could not be any worse than Chan or Doug. Bad South Park reference.
Nanker Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 This better not get me banned. But talk of surprises and tokens...
smuvtalker Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Token, probably. At least he plays a mean bass guitar Sergeant Lincoln Osiris you sir, deserve a standing ovation!
Kelly the Dog Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 This better not get me banned. But talk of surprises and tokens... I don't like guys who show no emotion on the sidelines. He really reminds me of Dick Jauron. No thanks. Sergeant Lincoln Osiris He's a really good choice. Tough guy. Street cred. Delegator.
hondo in seattle Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I'd be thrilled if they had a chance to interview Tony Dungy.
mrwilson60 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Whaley has hired ZERO minority head coaches!!! Hes got the most racist track record in football. Really? Whaley's track record is racist because he hasn't hired a minority head coach? Come on Jauronimo, I've been reading your posts for a while and I know you understand that professional football is a meritocracy. Doug Whaley, or any other NFL general manager for that matter, is going to hire the candidate he sees as the best candidate to build a winner and therefore ensure stability for the organization and said general manager. Calling his track record racist is a bit inflammatory.
