4merper4mer Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) He has success everywhere he gas been and has a lot more experience than any of the other candidates. He has a charm to him as well and this would make for good press. One knock on him is his age but in watching the Sugar Bowl broadcast he is still very engaged. He might be able to drag the much younger Tim Tebow in as an offensive coordinator. Mods: please pin this. Thanks. Edited January 2, 2015 by 4merper4mer
4merper4mer Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Lee Corso for OC? He does not impress me as much but could teach Billy Buffalo a thing or two. Seriously though Holtz won at Notre Dame and coached the Jets. If you take one of ours, we take one of yours....
kasper13 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I think the only two games Lou Holtz won in the NFL were against the Bills. Get him.
thewildrabbit Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Geez, the guy is only 77 years old, he might be to young. We can always ask Chuck Knox to coach the Bills, as he is only 82. While we are at it if those two don't want the job we could go the Marty Schottenheimer route, he is only a spry 71.
ExWNYer Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 This is a joke, right? Right?? Hey, Lou...the 1975 Jets called. They want you back.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 wow, Bill Polien is young enough to be his son.
boyst Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 please pin this, mods. this topic keeps falling down in the clutter, and i want to make sure all updates are easily found.
boyst Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Holtz does not use Twitter but I checked the TellerTape device Looking for best situation for my family[sTOP] ESPN treats me very well[sTOP] No interest in Buffalo[stop]
bbb Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 He's real close with Marrone and Marrone told him how horrible the organization is.

Captain Caveman Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I think Lemmy would make a fine coach. I've met Lemmy, and no, he wouldn't.
Captain_Quint Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I'm not going to coach the bills. (now imagine someone with a lisp saying this)
