Mariota v Winston

TE Nick O'Leary for FSU could be a Bills draft target

Welp

@BruceFeldmanCFB: #FSU All-American TE Nick O'Leary (tweaked hamstring in warm-ups) is struggling accelerating and stumbling out of his cuts.

Oregon may well win this game and a national championship.

But I have no doubt who the better pro QB prospect is.

It's not that 212 pound spread QB.

Mariota.is a fine college QB tho, don't get me wrong.

Mariota will play better in the second half, but I have to agree that Winston looks really good. He throws a nice ball, has good mobility and he is a commanding physical presence.

Winston is a powerhouse out there. IMO he is the best prospect since luck by a mile. Right now it looks like ducks will win, but it's more about mistakes on defense and the fsu fumbles than a QB vs QB showdown.

The way Winston delivers the ball reminds me a lot of Brady. I have no idea how he threw 17 INTs this year.

He's got a funny delivery.

I wouldn't call it a hitch, more like loading motion.

Makes me wonder whether he fully engages his lower body and transfers his weight properly.

All I heard in the buildup to this was how good it was for FSU to be the underdog.

Which was odd since they're 27-0 as a favorite the last two years and 0-0 as a dog.

When he has time to throw, he does not miss.

Too bad about the fumbles. This was shaping up to be quite the duel.

This. Could have been a great game. Feel bad for Cook there. What a way to end what was otherwise a great freshman season.

MM looks great but is that style really going to transfer over to the NFL in a sustainable way?
