Franchiseneedsme Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 So now I think it's most likely Schwartz, and we will be looking for a new OC
PolishDave Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Sounds like he just burned his bridges with the staff. Fool. Hurts his reputation and integrity.
Fixxxer Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 there you go !@#$ers, you wanted him out, you got it.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I don't understand the anger at him. We don't know what drove this, and he exercised his contractual right. He will make more money and have more security (in terms of years) elsewhere. Plus possibly a competent qb. Like LaFontaine before him, I think he is not the guy he portrays himself to be and just pisses people off. There is a lot of reason to believe that.
BringBackFergy Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) Sounds like he just burned his bridges with the staff. Fool. Hurts his reputation and integrity. Agreed. We gave him a shot. He performed average. Now he is believing the crap Schefter is spewing. Have at it St Doug. Edited December 31, 2014 by BringBackFergy
EmotionallyUnstable Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Hackett better be packing his bags...SEE YA!
YoloinOhio Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 @AdamSchefter: From @mortreport and I: Doug Marrone walks with his 2015 salary of $4 million without it counting as an offset against any future salary.
blargo Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 So now I think it's most likely Schwartz, and we will be looking for a new OC I agree, Pepper Johnson D cord, and new OC
stevestojan Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 That ungrateful !@#$ing bastard. I've supported that !@#$ the entire time. !@#$ him. !@#$ him.
snafu Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Stunned. Flabbergasted. What a stupid thing for him to do. That being said, here's to finding someone who can succeed.
bbb Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Tim Graham @ByTimGraham 17s17 seconds ago League source: Marrone asked Pegulas for an extension and was told no. He then asked for extensions for his assistants and was told no. Good!
Dr. Fong Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I hope whoever replaces him is a legitimate coach instead of the recycled bottom of the barrel that we've had to endure. The parallels between Marrone and Mike Mularkey are pretty amazing. Hopefully what follows this time is with a better result.
HamSandwhich Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Wow, I don't like this at all really. Starting all over again. Will it ever end?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 just got txt from WGR, great so much for continuity http://www.wgr550.com/
Wayne Cubed Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 He's the lead candidate to get the Jets job. Just wow.
WotAGuy Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Must be Orton retiring put him over the edge......
dave mcbride Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Like LaFontaine before him, I think he is not the guy he portrays himself to be and just pisses people off. There is a lot of reason to believe that. They say the same about parcells. I think he's a good coach and will prove it elsewhere. We shall see.
LA Grant Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 This has got to be one of the craziest seasons of all time. Even crazier: Jets take Marrone, Bills take Rex?
