Gamble is aligned with Chip Kelly, so this indicates that all is not well between Chipper and GM Howie Roseman. This could be similar to what is happening between the Dougs.

Except, none of Marrones guys are in the front office and only one (Hackett) is on the sideline. Don't think there are any real coaches that Marrone brought in specifically.
mannc Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 I am speculating, of course, but I would imagine that the feud at OBD is at least partly about Hackett and his future. The out clause may give Marrone leverage that Chipper lacked.
