Jerry Jabber Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Since there's a lot of negativity either on here or listening to some of the cry baby announcers on WGR550 (such as Mike Schopp), I think it would be nice to point out some of the positives from this Bills season (in no particular order): The Bills finished with a winning record for the first time in 10 years Did not have a losing record at any point in the season Went 4-0 against the NFC North Finished 2nd in the AFC East (compared to their usual finish of 4th) Had a 4-2 record within the division Defense ranks 3rd in the league (up seven spots from last season) Led the league in sacks with 54 In the past two seasons, the Bills have 111 sacks (league lead) Defeated three current playoff teams

To spin it any other way is just wrong. Good job. Also ended NE 35 game him win streak against AFC!

billsfan714 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Schwartz deserves a lot of credit. I dont think many people thought this defense would improve without Kiko and Byrd. The run defense was much better than Pettine's D.

The run defense was much better than Pettine's D. I agree. I know many people were worried about Schwartz taking over, especially since he is known for not being as aggressive with blitzing as Pettine was, but the Bills had almost the same amount of sacks as last season, and improved in many areas on defense.
