It's interesting. Penguins and pandas are universally beloved creatures.

Snakes and spiders? Not so much.

I would put forth there is a default human emotional response associated with aesthetically pleasing or non-harmful creatures.

By the same token, we are hard-wired to be deathly afraid of anything that had a chance to kill us...back when we were all living on the plains of eastern Africa during the plastiscene.

This stuff is fascinating.

It's from a movie about plastic.

Sorry. I meant Pleistocene of course. You got me!

Funny about the ice rats, but come on man, people love penguins.

Rats? Like pandas are just big racoons?

And Tom, plastiscene is that modeling clay from the 60's/70's. Don't you remember when Eastern Africa was covered with the stuff? Terrible tragedy.

This is cute too:

That's gotta be a gag, staged? Well, I most certainly hope so. LMAO! Most people notice the little arrow under the fuel gauge which points to the side the fuel door is on. Then again, Honda CRV driver! ;-P

Anyway, she's driving on the "wrong side" of the road too! ;-)
