dave mcbride Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 How does he not get credited for that half sack that made it 3rd and 26??? He was trying to strip him while holding him and the the QB was being dragged to the ground. They gave a vulture half sack to Charles instead, and he arrived when the play was essentially over. Unless that's corrected, Hughes, who was unstoppable today, doesn't get to double digit sacks. (Of course, they called a penalty on the one clear sack he made.) Kelly the Dog Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 They may change it. His agent is probably going ballistic. He was great again today, although he should have had two sacks. We need to re-sign him.

Not at the table Karlos Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) this. The guy is blatantly held so much it is ridiculous. I'm gonna get destroyed for this but the last player that was held as much as Hughes was merriman. Kyle is making his way up this list he gets held a ridiculous amount. BillnutinHouston Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Weird thread. Can you explain WHY you think this conspiracy exists or what's in it for the NFL?

Mr. WEO Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Did Spiller get credit for 1/2 sack on Orton? If not, I'm calling conspiracy...
KD in CA Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Did Spiller get credit for 1/2 sack on Orton? If not, I'm calling conspiracy... It was actually one of his better blocks.
dave mcbride Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Weird thread. Can you explain WHY you think this conspiracy exists or what's in it for the NFL? It's been a running joke all season on this board!
KD in CA Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) Was the league in on the play where Hugues had his arms wrapped around the QB and inexplicably let him run away? LOL --- Hugues actually drew a couple holding calls today, and against the Pats no less! Miracles do happen! Edited December 29, 2014 by KD in CT
TPS Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 It's his own fault for not getting double digit sacks letting Jimmy G escape two easy ones.
Gugny Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Perhaps the stupid penalties that hurt the team added up against him, I don't know. But I want him here next year and beyond.
JayD Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 He let go of the QB to strip the ball and Wynn and Lawson brought down the QB. It was actually pretty clear. If he didn't take both arms off of the QB he would have been credited
Kelly the Dog Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 There you go Dave McBride! Justice is served! 10 sacks!
