Garion Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Proud of the win but Garoppolo's play in a vanilla not fully staffed offense was very solid looks like the future of the Pats is looking good even after the Brady era. The win was nice but I would like to have seen this kid look terrible so at least there was more post Brady hope.
Bronc24 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 He led them to a few first downs and no TD's. One of those first downs was a bad call. I wouldn't crown him a true Brady successor quite yet.
YoloinOhio Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I hope the future includes Bills backups holding pats to no TDs in Foxboro
Garion Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Still mobile confident accurate. Kid is a rookie facing our pass rush and still was able to generally keep looking downfield.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Didnt he score three points? He made a couple great scrambles and a few good throws. Against Brooks.
zonabb Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yep, one game and he's anointed a pro bowler.
Doc Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Garroppoollllooo doesn't look like anything special.
YoloinOhio Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yep, one game and he's anointed a pro bowler. tsw has it's own HOF and it includes every non-Bill
BaaadThingsMan Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) I was wondering if the Bills had prepared for the kid. Doesn't appear that way? Overall they held him on check but his escapability caused a few wrinkles for sure. Edited December 28, 2014 by NorCalBillsSabres
YoloinOhio Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I was wondering if the Bills had prepared for the kid. Doesn't appear that way? how do you prepare for a player you have no film on? They played him well IMO with no starting CBs and no Dareus.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I was wondering if the Bills had prepared for the kid. Doesn't appear that way? They very likely did. The word before the game was that Brady was likely to play a half, maybe slightly less, maybe slightly more. I'm sure they prepared for Garranimal somewhat, too. how do you prepare for a player you have no film on? They played him well IMO with no starting CBs and no Dareus. There is film on him in college and preseason. They knew he was going to play. I'm sure they had some plan for him.
Heitz Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Garroppoollllooo doesn't look like anything special. Right? Did we all watch the same game??
zonabb Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 tsw has it's own HOF and it includes every non-Bill My bad.

The win was nice but I would like to have seen this kid look terrible so at least there was more post Brady hope. A predictable post. Garroppolo might become alright. Why do so many Bills fans look for reasons to beat themselves up? It's constant, and even during the Kelly years, so many people had a pathetic defeatist attitude. I'm not losing sleep over Garroppolo Edited December 28, 2014 by HoF Watkins
The Dean Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I was wondering if the Bills had prepared for the kid. Doesn't appear that way? There is film on him in college and preseason. They knew he was going to play. I'm sure they had some plan for him. I'm guessing they prepared for him. And seeing as how the team, with Garappolo scored 3 points, I'd say they did an OK job of preparing for him.
tito1 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Once brady is done, NE goes into mediocrity for a long time.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Right? Did we all watch the same game?? He did lead the team to 3 points in one half. And 90 yards passing (71 net).
