Beerball Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 aka Dean Wormer. Still one of the funniest movies ever.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 His best line was as Fletcher in 'The Outlaw Josey Wales': "Fletcher-"There's another saying, Senator: Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining." RIP
JoeF Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 I wonder if Tom Brady will be distracted by his death.... RIP Dean Wormer...you sneaky little sh--...get that horse out of your office...
BRH Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 "Blutarski (sic)... zero point zero" 227923[/snapback] "Daniel Simpson Day.... HAS no grade point average."
mphs mike Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Probably the funniest movie ever - saw the whole thing earlier this week. Although not the Dean my favorite line has always been "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
eSJayDee Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 While we're quoting lines - "Fat, drunk & stupid is no way to go through life, son." Really? Why not?
Rico Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 RIP John Vernon.. Good in Animal House, GREAT as the warden in Chained Heat!
Wacka Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 I have the "Double Secret Probation " (25th anniv.) DVD version of Animal House. It has a "Where are they now?" featurette as if Animal House was a real documentary. Boone is a gynecologist, D-Day is running a meth lab in Modesto, Mrs. Wormer is a barfly in Toledo(?) and Dean Wormer is in a wheelchair. This was John Vernon's last part. When they start mentioning Delta House, he gets up out of the chair and starts beating the cameraman with a cane! I also read that John Vernon had a long run on the CBC in the early 60s in a series where he played a coroner.
