Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Don't know much about him, but they signed him.
PIZ Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 I think he's actually pretty good. I think this is the guy who was on the Giants roster and he was so good they kept 2 kickers.

RuntheDamnBall Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235142http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5664 yeah he is so good LOL he worse than lindell and he got cut from the niners LOL 227935 This was one of the guys in the Niners' revolving door a couple years ago, when they couldn't make a kick to save their lives. I guess they are just signing Pochman as if to let Lindell know he could be worse.
Hawk Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 This guy sucks....made only 3 of 8 in the critical 30 - 39 range..
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell??
Thunderstealer Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? 228004 Mrs. Lindell?
stevestojan Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? 228004 Give me one reason why you like him. Sorry, but "kicking %" is not a good one. When your coaches don't have faith to put you on the field to kick one longer than 35 yards, anyone will have a good percentage.
bluenews Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 he wore #11 in SF, I guess that's a good indicator for the QB situation....
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 he wore #11 in SF, I guess that's a good indicator for the QB situation.... 228189 I am pretty sure that other than Vinatieri, Akers and a few other elite guys that kickers are WAY down the food chain in terms of getting to chose a number. They get what they get.
soljc Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? 228004 yes.
Arkady Renko Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? 228004 No, there are tons of people who like punting from the 30 yard line.
zook Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235142http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5664 yeah he is so good LOL he worse than lindell and he got cut from the niners LOL 227935 the guy sucks worse than Lindell - he single handedly blew several games for the Niners a season or 2 ago and got cut in the middle of the season as far as I know hes a bum but then again Shayne Graham was pitiful in Buff and Carolina and then latched on with Cincy and is pretty good now - maybe NFL Europe will help him
The Jokeman Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 This guy sucks....made only 3 of 8 in the critical 30 - 39 range.. 227960 but he's a career 4 of 5 from 40-49. Maybe we signed him to be our 40-49 yard long FG/kick off specialist.
kasper13 Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Pochman and the 5 other players the Bills signed are all going to be playing in NFL Europe. "The Bills have signed linebacker Kellen Brantley, tight end/long snapper Mike Gomez, defensive back Jonathon Palafox, kicker Owen Pochman, quarterback Kevin Thompson, and wide receiver LaDaris Vann. All six players have been allocated to participate in NFL Europe. The results of the league's allocation draft will be announced on February 14 and NFL Europe training camps start on March 2"
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? I like Lindell and excused his lousiness from beyond 40+ yards because he was good from inside that. Then when he missed a 28-yarder against the Steelers in THE play that turned the game, I wanted him shipped out on a railcar.
col_forbin Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Am I the only person who likes Lindell?? 228004 Now come on I'm sure if you weigh all the options, you won't even like Lindell
