The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Too late. He'll be doing things the French way now. @TomPelissero Michael Sam has signed with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes, per one of his agents, Joe Barkett. It's a one-year deal with an option for 2016. Don't most CFL contracts have an out clause if an NFL team comes calling? I could be wrong about that. I know independent minor league baseball teams do, but the CFL doesn't consider themselves minor league.

26CornerBlitz Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Any player under a CFL contact can't just up and leave for the NFL. Correct. The NFL recognizes CFL contracts. Players in the CFL can only pursue the NFL once their contracts are up.

YoloinOhio Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I think the Bills would be outstanding TV this season... But I believe they already turned it down. Too bad, people would watch for Rex and this cast of characters.
YoloinOhio Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Predicted Hard knocks stars (if the Bills change their minds): Rex Boobie Nick o Leary TT
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Predicted Hard knocks stars (if the Bills change their minds): Rex Boobie Nick o Leary TT Richie and Hardin too. Stevie would have been great for this show actually.
CountryCletus Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Predicted Hard knocks stars (if the Bills change their minds): Rex Boobie Nick o Leary TT TT?
maddenboy Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I've said forever, we should volunteer for it a.s.a.p. I'd rather get it out of the way. I dont want to do it in a year or two, when we are serious contenders. Get it out of the way. Now.
CountryCletus Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 tyrod Oh- no crap!! Hahaha... First thing that came to mind was Troupe and I was starting to vomit....
VermontFan Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Predicted Hard knocks stars (if the Bills change their minds): Rex Boobie Nick o Leary TT I bet Freddy would get a good amount of screen time, too. The long-term, long-suffering vet who wants to win for his team so badly, and who could be fighting for survival at TC, is always a compelling narrative.
Heitz Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 TT? Thurman Thomas - guest appearances on the sidelines of practice
YoloinOhio Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Thurman Thomas - guest appearances on the sidelines of practice of course! Plus Andre Reed will be coaching
Ohiostyle Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Such mixed feelings for me on this subject. The voyer in me wants to tune in, the other side would like to keep the dirty laundry private, or at least speculative.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 @mikerodak Doug Whaley confirms that the Bills won’t be doing Hard Knocks. Said it’s not the Pegulas’ “cup of tea,” nor his.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 It may actually keep certain players with behavior issues (Incognito, Harvin, etc.) on their toes.
Manther Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Vikings and Texans both qualify. What are the qualifications? @mikerodak Doug Whaley confirms that the Bills won’t be doing Hard Knocks. Said it’s not the Pegulas’ “cup of tea,” nor his. Good stuff!
