217014170 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 If ever there was a year...this is it. There are just too many storylines to ignore. Beyond the compelling stories on the field, you can bring Jim Kelly in, showcase the Pegula family and their commitment to the region (cross promotion with the NHL Sabres), and even kick it off with a tribute to Ralph Wilson. Start filming at the Rex press conference.
Fadingpain Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I would love the Bills on Hard Knocks Ditto. That would be totally cool. Anyone saying this is a distraction or whatever...well...that isn't true. Hell, it would probably focus half the guys on the roster. A lot of NFL players have IQs lower than room temperature but seemingly come alive when a camera is on them.
HalftimeAdjustment Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I'm guessing they go with a different team this year, but in 2016 the Bills can be 'picked' and it's a good chance.
Beef Jerky Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 It only runs for a few weeks in TC... It stops before the season begins.
The Dean Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Put cameras in front of a media whore HC---what could go wrong?
Beef Jerky Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Put cameras in front of a media whore HC---what could go wrong? Most likely nothing.
K D Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 the Pegula's might be interested in Hard Knocks. they run a sports entertainment business afterall and they would love the free pub
The Dean Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Most likely nothing. Notice how really successful franchises (like the Pats* for instance) don't use that logic? "Most likely nothing" means "possibly something". Does the team get anything positive (in the wins column) from appearing? Take a look at who participates in that show. With the exception of the Ravens, no team has won the Super Bowl since the show went on the air (and they appeared in 2001). That's not the company the Bills should be keeping. Act like a champ, not a chump!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 like they will need free pub with the outspoken Rex Ryan!!!
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan says he was interested in doing TV, won't 'seek out' HBO's Hard Knocks [1:54 AM] self explanatory
QCity Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 @nfltrade_rumors: Report: Browns The Front-Runners To Appear On Hard Knocks http://t.co/dRwrRPWdEN #NFL Probably makes the most sense since Pettine has already done the show with NY. Plus the QB situation of course.
Captain Hindsight Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Probably makes the most sense since Pettine has already done the show with NY. Plus the QB situation of course. Yeah Josh McCown should bring in some viewers
YoloinOhio Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) Hard Knocks: Intervention They will show Johnny jonesing in rehab and Josh smoking weed at the car lot where he works during his suspensions @ProFootballTalk: Browns in line for Hard Knocks, per @viccarucci http://t.co/5q4JD0C9PT Edited March 23, 2015 by YoloinOhio

Who wants to watch the Browns play football, much less watch a behind the scenes of it. (unless you are a Browns fan).

billsfan89 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I think Rex learned his lesson with Hard Knocks. It really didn't make him look that good and it gave him headaches with the media. I think having players like InCognito and Harvin also make it less likely for the team to do it.
Maury Ballstein Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Browns ? Man hard knocks has picked some boring ass teams lately. Guess Jaguars and Titans are coming next ?
YoloinOhio Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Browns ? Man hard knocks has picked some boring ass teams lately. Guess Jaguars and Titans are coming next ?the Falcons were a major yawner last year. If it wasn't for Bryan Cox going nuts and the JJ watt cameo it would have been zzzzzzz
Protocal69 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I think Rex has already said on WGR that he didn't want to do Hard Knocks

If it wasn't for Bryan Cox going nuts and the JJ watt cameo it would have been zzzzzzz yea I'm all good on the Harry Douglas and Kroy Bierman show. Rashede Hagemans season was somehow worse than his hard knocks appearances were. Zzzzzzzz. I sat thru the Gd Chiefs Brodie Croyle one. Pick the bills one day HBO!
