The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Not a big fan but once it's over everyone forgets about it. Not a big deal Yeah. But it'd be cool to watch your own team do it.
Beef Jerky Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 i think they are now exempt because they will have a 1st year HC. Yep you cannot be forced if you have a new HC. Now they would have to volunteer and that won't happen.
K D Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I love hard knocks. I think we are one of the few teams that might benefit from being on it. A lot of these guys crave the spotlight and they aren't getting it as much in Buffalo. Might be good for morale after all of the coaching turmoil of the past 3 yrs
The Jokeman Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) Jaguars? Chargers or Chiefs? Now that we are going to have a new HC in 2015 I think we're ineligible. I could see Hard Knocks hitting Cleveland to follow the Johnny Football show. Edited January 6, 2015 by The Jokeman
nucci Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Yeah. But it'd be cool to watch your own team do it. I agree. I don't see the downside everyone says.
Clippers of Nfl Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I agree. I don't see the downside everyone says. Hbo subscription too pricey... That's all I can think of. I would love it big time.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) FWIW according to this tread. It aint gonna happen forcibly at least http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24939058/redskins-giants-among-9-nfl-teams-eligible-for-2015-hard-knocks The Giants, Redskins, Browns, Texans, Jaguars, Titans, Vikings, Buccaneers and Rams are all eligible to be compelled by the league to participate because they don't meet any of the three criteria Here's the rest of the teams are exempt from being forced to appear on the show: Playoffs Last Two Years: Patriots, Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, Colts, Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Eagles, Packers, Lions, Panthers, Saints, Seahawks, Cardinals New Head Coach: Bills, Jets, Raiders, Bears, 49ers, Falcons Edited January 6, 2015 by BillsFan-4-Ever
KollegeStudnet Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Again, for the blilionth time on this matter... My vote is NOPE
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) Correct me if I'm wrong, but the NFL basically requires whatever team is chosen to go with it, however a team with a new HC has the right to decline. So we technically CAN get the show, but it isn't likely. Edited January 6, 2015 by The Real Buffalo Joe
Chuck Wagon Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Like HBO is going to skip out on putting Johnny Football front and center. The Browns can't say no this year.
voodoo poonani Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 We're not required since we'll have a first year HC

Rocky Landing Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 We're not required since we'll have a first year HC That's cool. We only have to worry about it every other year.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 That's cool. We only have to worry about it every other year. We could pull a Cleveland and fire the new guy after his first year.
Clippers of Nfl Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Again, for the blilionth time on this matter... My vote is NOPE Your post count is very low. For the 3500 time, my vote is Hell Yeah!!! From a bill's fan perspective, it would be great. (All that means is that it will not happen; Doh!)
boyst Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Yeah, can't imagine a more appealing team then a newly hired Rex Ryan, a young talented D, the potential of epic battles among staff, with 4 DC's, and 2 HC's on the roster. If Trestman comes in, make that 3.
fridge Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 This a sure thing. Opportunity to display Rex again will be HUGE for the producers.
YoloinOhio Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) The Bills can opt out (sorry) because of having a 1st year HC. But these are the new Bills so... You never know Edited January 11, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Lurker Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Last thing Bills needs is the distraction of this soap opera Agreed. Soap operas are only good for selling soap...
The Dean Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Agreed. Soap operas are only good for selling soap... Especially with a media whore like Rex. One of the worst things for a team, IMO, is for the HC to demand the spotlight.
