Kirby Jackson
so if we're so sure that offensive players are not improving and the problem is coaching, isn't that on Marrone, who is supposed to be an offensive coach? I think that he is a part of it for sure. It really is a little disturbing to watch this offense.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower
Haven't seen any comments on Pat Morris yet. Why spare him from this? Should he stay or go? Granted he has limited talent to work with, but still...... I have been pointing out for weeks that he has done a terrible job and never seems to get any mention as culpable. The line has gotten progressively worse and since Marrone is an OL guy it all goes on him. I would like to see Hackett and Morris replaced. TheFunPolice
I think that he is a part of it for sure. It really is a little disturbing to watch this offense.  What really worries me is that he has has two full seasons after this week and if anything it seems worse  That's like hiring Rex Ryan and for two years your D is so bad you cannot stop anyone.  The question (IMO) becomes what Marrone brings to the table overall. I question his roster decisions (Urbik, keeping a kickoff specialist, Caveman, Pears at guard) his game management (gutless, but then again not unlike many coaches) and his ability to develop QBs and an offense.  What are you getting with him that someone else can't give you? BLizzyMeock
The numbers Woods and Sammy are putting are actually impressive considering the absolutely terrible qb play. With a good not even elite qb they're numbers would be significantly better.
BmarvB
I would have to say the O-Line coach goes. The previous coaching staff (Chan's) got much more out of basically the same group up front (minus Henderson), or did one hell of a job of disguising just how bad they really are. KOKBILLS
Go, guys have regressed. You can take the entire offensive side of the ball as far as I am concerned. Which offensive players have improved under their tutelage? Â
4merper4mer
Just curious how you think has Marrone been responsible for Freds ability to defy age? If he is then Doug Marrone is the man many people in the world have been searching. He holds the secret of anti-aging. Â That's all the boring stuff Marrone has done. Ask him how Marrone made the sun appear in the sky and turned water into wine.
NoSaint
  Fred has clearly lost a step and is still productive in this offense. That's how. He's running in molasses and is gonna have 1000 all-purpose yards.  3.8 YPC (down a half yard year over year) 2 tds (down 7 YOY) yards per catch also down YOY  we love his heart and tenacity but it hasnt been a great year and 1000 all purpose yards isnt a big feat.  Haven't seen any comments on Pat Morris yet. Why spare him from this? Should he stay or go? Granted he has limited talent to work with, but still......  ive been saying for a bit now that aaron kromer (bears oc, former saints ol coach under marrone) might make sense. turned mid round tackles in evans and nicks into all pros at guard. i think bushrods a little overrated but as a 4th round tackle hes played well (2x probowler). zach streif isnt playing great right now but was a 7th rounder that many here wanted at tackle when he was a FA because he was the highest graded RT in the league. even the undrafted de la puente has played well at times at center (PFF grades of +6, 6 and 23 in his 3 years starting for the saints).  the group was a 2 time winner of the madden most valuable protectors award under kromer  id be happy to see him work with some of our young guys that are physically gifted but not showing results on the field. Saint Doug
Saying the Bills coaches improved Henderson's play is like buying a Ferrari, placing new tires on it, and saying "look, I made a racing car". Â Henderson was one of our best o-linemen in preseason, enough to earn him the RT starting job. That's a testament to the young man's effort and talent, not coaching. And if he improved during the year, he did so in spite of the current offensive coaches. Â The numbers Woods and Sammy are putting are actually impressive considering the absolutely terrible qb play. At times he was the best player on the line (how much that is saying, I don't know) but had zero answer for Mack on Sunday and that was a strong contribution to the loss. Pete
Hogan. Arguably Henderson. Arguably Dixon. Arguably Woods, but I would emphatically reject that argument. Woods has been nothing special considering 1.) He was drafted pretty high in a deep WR draft, and 2.) He was extensively billed as the most "polished", NFL-ready WR in his draft class. Not saying he sucks, just that he hasn't come close to outperforming expectations. maybe if orton would throw the ball to a !@#$ing wr woods would be stellar

Sisyphean Bills
It's too bad Pettine didn't clean house on the offensive side of the staff. But then, he probably didn't need to read the tea leaves.
