Augie Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 It's hard to say, but he's surrounded by garbage. I don't want to judge a guy I trusted based on that.
timtebow15 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I know I'm not sick of Eric Wood. He's been hurt bad a couple times and plays with more passion than most of our team. I'm sick of our front office knowing we have a problem and bringing in players like Williams and Kujo - who most everyone in the NFL said were not good players - to solve the problem! I'd like to see if Wood comes back to form with a couple decent guards playing next to him. I suspect he'd look a whole lot better.
Bill from NYC Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 At this point I'd just like to see them get some athletic blockers in who can engage quickly. Have you seen Leon Brown? He was a Junior College transfer in 2013 and played OT. Now he line up at RG for the Tide, and although a senior, this was his first year as a starter. Early in the season, he had some very untimely penalties (most of them for motion) and it drove Saban nuts to the point that he pulled him a couple of times. Now, he is a complete beast but he is certainly more of a mauler than a finesse blocker. Brown and Austin Sheppard could conceivably fall into later rounds.
Beerball Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yeah, I'm sick of a guy who puts it all out there every game.
