Just Jack Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Quarterback Colt Brennan of Saddleback Community College said he was informed on Tuesday that Syracuse University will not offer him a scholarship. Brennan said he was prepared to accept a scholarship from the Orange until new head coach Greg Robinson informed him that school administrators would not approve the offer. ......... Brennan, 21, was convicted in September and sentenced Jan. 21 of second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and unlawful sexual contact by a court in Boulder, Colo. The conviction stems from an incident on Jan. 28, 2004, at the University of Colorado in which Brennan allegedly barged into the dorm room of a female student, fondled the student and exposed himself. A former walk-on at the University of Colorado, Brennan was sentenced to seven days in jail and placed on four years of probation. The court required him to write a public letter of apology to be published in three Boulder-area newspapers. Complete article at this link
