YoloinOhio
@SBNationNFL: Can never have too many consultants I always say. RT @AlbertBreer: Per source, Jets have approached Ron Wolf about a role as a consultant.
thewildrabbit
I am almost certain the Pegulas will bring in someone as either a consultant or Football Ops person. That doesn't mean everyone else is gone, but it DOES mean a very real (and obvious) split between what Russ does and what the football operations do. I think Marrone is probably safe UNLESS he fights them on replacing Hackett. In that case, Pegula won't hesitate to send him packing. Doubt it? Google Pat Lafontaine and Sabres President I only hope you are right on all this. The Bills are desperate for an actual NFL football man at the top as president. The GM & HC shouldn't be reporting to the finance / marketing guy.
CardinalScotts
typical guy who comes in when your lost as an orginzation....Lombardi, Casserly, Ron Wolfe, Ernie Accorsi. This is what worries me about Pegula - leave things alone the ole "consultant" puts money in his pocket and he walks away the team in terrible shape. YoloinOhio
IMO the jets shouldn't bother with the consultants. Get rid of Idzik and Rex. Hire a new GM from a successful team who is currently a Dir of Player Personnel or title along those lines. Let him pick the new coach. Buffalo Barbarian
I get the feelin Peyton man in is gonna hang it up after this year and he doesn't strike me as someone to just sit around and relax. I'd bring him in in a heartbeat, even if he has no experience definitely, he always takes his guys golfing to see how they react to situationso he knows what to look for and would love him here. Would also like him as an OC. I also think he might hang it up to as his arm seems to fading quick.
