26CornerBlitz Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 @AdamSchefter Stunner from Chicago: Bears starting QB Jimmy Clausen this week, per source.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Wow. Just wow. Cutler would surely be an upgrade here. We would be a playoff team. But I'm worried he would cut our hearts out.
QB Bills Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Screw Cutler. If Trestman could make Josh McCown look like a pro bowler, there must be something really wrong with this guy to stink it up the way he has this year.
FluffHead Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Kristin cavallari would totally dig buffalo
Kelly the Dog Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 The thing about him is, even with all his turnovers, this defense is probably good enough to withstand them. It would really suck if I had to root for him. I've always hated him and thought he wasn't very good.
Whack 'Em Williams Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 The thing about him is, even with all his turnovers, this defense is probably good enough to withstand them. For what the next 2-4 years tops until FA shreds us apart like a steel fart.
FireChan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 For what the next 2-4 years tops until FA shreds us apart like a steel fart. That will happen regardless. That's why they call it "making a run."
Fadingpain Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 This guy is going to be available next season, and we should take him, including all his many flaws.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 They should bench the entire offensive line too. Especially Garza. Not blaming all of Cutler's ills on the o-line, but they are putrid.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 That will happen regardless. That's why they call it "making a run." Not even sure that will happen. Whaley is building a full, deep, versatile team, mirrored from his education at the Steelers, so that we can be strong year in and year out.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 The Jets will be all over Jay. That would be awesome. He's perfect for there.
Lord_MacDonald Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 What are the chances Cutler gets outright cut rather than traded after this season? Got to be a major red flag to anyone who was interested in giving something up for him that his previous franchise saw Jimmy "Done Nothing in the NFL" Clauson as a better option. I feel like someone would claim him on waivers if he got cut but if they didn't I wouldn't be against bringing cutler in on a more manageable contract. Worth seeing if lightning could strike in my opinion.
G-Daddy Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Trestman says, you're getting me fired, sit on your butt.
Captain Hindsight Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 If you get benched for Clausen... you suck
