boyst Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 All of the talking heads hate Cutler. i'd agree if they didnt' give him so much damn attention. it's not as bad as Tebow mania but it may be equal to manziel mania.
TSOL Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Of all the unlikely scenerio's, this one is my 6th favorite
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 choosing one or the other is not as important as what would you give up to have either
BillsFan130 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 eli 100 percent. cutler is a strong armed orton, the guy sucks
southtampacane Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I don't know about you, but if we had a shot at either one, I'd take Eli in a heartbeat before even considering Cutler. He still has a few good years left in him. Â I don't want either. Cutler is insanely talented but a complete wreck who is too far along in his career to ever become a top tier guy. Eli has just been fortunate to be on two teams that got on great runs. He has two rings, but is a mediocre QB on the downside of his career. Â We have to start from scratch. No EJ talk either. And Kyle cannot be under center next year.
All_Pro_Bills Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I'll throw another name out there. Assuming Tampa gets the number one pick and goes with Mariota what about making a deal for Mike Glennon? 2nd year pro with a good arm some decent but not great numbers, and lots of potential. Career - 19 games, 364 of 619 for 4,025 yards, 29 TDs & 15 Ints with a QB rating of 83.7 with a not so good Tampa Bay team. Â Also see a lot of Eli Manning in some threads but there is no way on earth the Giants deal him anywhere. I would also take a look at Bradford and possibly RG3 if I could be certain his issues are specific to the situation in Washington.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Cutler wouldn't work out in Buffalo. We admire hard work. Notice how much respect we have for Fitz, even if we don't like him as a QB. The man bust his ass for us every play. Cutler not give a $#!+ attitude won't fly with fans.
Maddog69 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 how do I fit IN in Eli? I don't want to know I'll throw another name out there. He still has a few good years left in him. No need to even ask this question -- Jay Cutler = Jeff George --- both are not worth a roster spot.
Gugny Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I remember sitting my son down when his "what if" scenarios/questions started to get a little ridiculous ... when he was NINE.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 What if we got Kyle Orton, EJ Manuel, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tim Tebow, Gugny, NDCUSEBUFFALONUMBERONEBESTEVERFAN, and Alex Smith in a 7 way cage match?
BillsFanM.D. Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Eli. I'd actually be excited if we got him. I get he has flaws but the guy would be a major upgrade.
