BmarvB Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I don't know about you, but if we had a shot at either one, I'd take Eli in a heartbeat before even considering Cutler. He still has a few good years left in him.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Definitely Eli, though I don't think either one is what this franchise needs right now. They are both incredibly turnover-prone, which I think would net us the same results as Orton's general mediocrity. Who we really needed was Alex Smith. As for Cutler, he is poison.
Watchtower62 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Eli...and though he has his bad games, it isn't even close to what Cutler does in MOST games.
eball Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I'm going to start a new thread asking, "if you could have Calvin Johnson or Stevie Johnson, which would you prefer?"

ALLEN1QB Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 what if.,.......... Just STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
boyst Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 F5! F5! Anyone picking Cutler hasn't watched him play this year and get all of their info on him from talking heads who revere the guy for some insane reason.

He still has a few good years left in him. If it is a choice between these two, Eli or no one. We have a defense to get past Eli's turnovers and carry him till December. Then we are good to go till the superbowl. In a fantasy world, if the following were available, I would choose Brees over Matt Ryan over EliM but never Cutler.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 what if.,.......... Just STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What if the Bills had Rogers, Brady, Brees, and Luck and let each one play a quarter of every game?

I was pilloried from the peanut gallery for making such a suggestion when he was available.

(You know, in a vacuum, with no pressure, expectations, stress, teammates....)
BmarvB Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Give him an upgraded O-line and an even stronger running game so he doesn't have to carry the team, I think it could work with Eli. The hell with Cutler.
