eball Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I refuse to sing it after a field goal and it has always bothered me. The field goal means we failed for the most part. Maybe have a Shout Lite version. That's actually a great idea. Just use the very end of the song for FGs -- dadadada-da-da-da-da----the Bills make me wanna shout!
judman Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 The song is only played after scores of 1, 2 (both ways), or 3... but not 6.
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) maybe I am wrong about when it played, maybe it was playing in my head every time they scored or made a great play, but that is still better than hearing voices fact is it's playing in my head as I edit this post Edited December 17, 2014 by rumblefish
rfk Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I hallucinate Rick James singing it and dancing
johnwalter Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 this wont be popular, but i never liked the shout song, it just doesnt get me fired up... like at all. need to upgrade our fan songs.
stevestojan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Don't they currently play it after an extra point too? Or is after the EP the first time they play it after the TD? If we miss an EP is there no shout? I'm fairly sure it's played after TD and EP.
NewEra Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 As long as Nate Hackett remains OC, yes. Can't ask for more than a FG. this wont be popular, but i never liked the shout song, it just doesnt get me fired up... like at all. need to upgrade our fan songs. How old are you?
gpodpdx Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Since we can't score touchdowns, or score in the Red Zone, might as well. Dan Carpenter IS our offense! Sad.
HOUSE Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) I have a message for your "Classy Packers fans" Blow me -- Edited December 17, 2014 by HOUSE

Metal Man Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Anything that gets the crowd more involved in the game can't be a bad thing.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Points is points, and the Ralph gets rockin' so the crowd can drown out the opposing offense. Play the song whenever points go up.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 No- field goals are for losers. They should play loser when they don't get into the end zone.
bigbill Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I think best would be to play half of the song and leave off the end so that all know we are expecting more, as in TD's!!!
johnwalter Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I think best would be to play half of the song and leave off the end so that all know we are expecting more, as in TD's!!! perhaps 3/7 of the song. ;-)
I'm Spartacus Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I don't mind the Shout song after any points, but what I REALLY HATE is that damn train whistle & "death bell" they alway blast when the opponent is on offense. Buffalo doesn't need audio amped in stupid noises. The fans can handle it on their own! Sounds pretty bush-league IMHO.
stevestojan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 No. Just once, after the PAT. So it's played after a missed EP as well? I guess since you said Point after Try, it must be. I should really try attending a game sober.

Oh dude....you are so right about that friggin train whistle.....I can't stand that friggin thing. Find something else....please.....for the love of mankind.... I am pissed now. I filled out my season ticket holder survey yesterday and I forgot to mention how much I hate that friggin whistle...Dammit!
eball Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Anything that gets the crowd more involved in the game can't be a bad thing. This, truthfully, is where the discussion should begin and end. All of those stadiums with "great" crowd noise do the same stuff.
