smuvtalker Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) The classy packers fan that came on here and shared with us his gameday experience, mentioned that he found it odd that we play the "Shout" song after making FGs. He mentioned that they gave a golf clap after a field goal, because they were expecting a touchdown. I couldn't help but agree. So, with that in mind, should the "Shout" song be played after a FG? My apologies if this has been polled before, or recently. This is my first poll Edited December 17, 2014 by smuvtalker
eball Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Only after game tying or winning FG. I agree it's a little much after a run-of-the-mill 35 yard FG in the middle of the 2nd quarter.
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 if you use the theory it's because the Bill's put points on the board , then ok, what I don't get is when they Play the New York Yankee theme music after a great play on Defense, what does Home Run or run scoring music have to do with Defense
1B4IDie Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Hell No. Only TDs. That is the rule in my house. Instead of "Only after a game tying or game winning field goal" Why don't you say "After a Win"
MarkAF43 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I like it after everything currently. Once our Offense actually gets better and scores more points and more TD's than FGs then they can stop it after run of the mill FG's
PolishDave Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Yes it should be played after field goals because we have Dick Jauron Doug Marrone as head coach and he plays for field goals. Touchdowns are like getting extra sprinkles on your ice cream in this coach's mind.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 With the offense seemingly having a TD aversion, you'd better enjoy the Shout song whenever it's played.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 With this offense we'd never hear the Shout song.
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 there was a time that it was played at random or it was after every great play, and it only seemed to be random
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) after all it is a cheer isn't it or a fight song Edited December 17, 2014 by rumblefish
Keukasmallies Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Yes, play it for every score. Which, unfortunately may mean we won't hear it all that often in the course of a game....
Corp000085 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 EVERY score. 3 points or 7 or 2, as was the case last week.
Pirate Angel Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 With this offend it should be played when they cross the 50
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Bills Backers bar in here in Houston refuses to allow the Shout song to be played, or even allow anybody to sing it on their own after a non game winning FG. Personally, even a tying field goal, that isn't like an end of the game sending it to overtime FG shouldn't play it.
truth on hold Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Doesn't matter until 2015 season because it's impossible for bills to play another home game this season, even if they make the playoffs

Personally, even a tying field goal, that isn't like an end of the game sending it to overtime FG shouldn't play it. Sounds like a great bar. What's the punishment for singing the shout song at an inappropriate time? Can you hum or whistle the song?
rfk Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 It plays when my toilet flushes so why not for feel goals
PolishDave Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 It plays when my toilet flushes so why not for feel goals Yeah, but do you hold your hands up in the air and go "Its good!" when you go to stand up and get off the toilet?
Campy Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 there was a time that it was played at random or it was after every great play, and it only seemed to be random I moved away in '92 but I don't remember that at all - I only remember hearing it after a score.
