Really ?

Yes, really. See how much the Vegas line moves if Murray can't play. It won't budge an inch. But if even a mediocre QB is out, the line can move as much as 3 or 4 points. It is a proven fact that good, serviceable RBs are regularly found in the 7th round of the draft, in the UDFA pool and as street free agents. I don't even know who Dallas's backup is, but I guarantee they won't miss a beat with him in there if Murray doesn't play, especially behind that O-line.

What you say is purely anecdotal. Teams without their feature back just don't do as well. How has Houston played without Arian Foster? How has Minnesota done with no Adrian Peterson? Take away Lynch from Seattle and they don't even contend this year .

What's anecdotal about it? How did Minnesota do last year with AP? And I completely disagree wrt Seattle. Lynch is very good, but SEA's record would be exactly the same either with him or without him. And Houston has been mediocre both with and without Foster this year. Again, if you don't believe me, just watch the Vegas line and see how much it moves when a team's "feature back" is injured. Edited by mannc

Ed Werder, ESPN, reporting Murray will decide tomorrow if he can go. He practiced today with padding over his glove on the injured hand.
