YoloinOhio Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 That's a surprise. Can't figure out what happened with him. Must be another one who got in St Doug's dog house. He was a good blocker, good special teamer and caught the ball well out of the backfield. dog house? Or just not good enough? I don't think he was a good blocker or caught the ball well. I knew he was toast when they signed Dixon. Surprised he hung on as long as he did.
transient Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I knew he was toast when they signed Dixon. I'm surprised. I always thought of them as a good tandem. Whenever I think of Summer thoughts of Boobie usually aren't very far behind.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 He didn't play because Gray turned into a player that can play multiple positions and block and catch from the fullback spot, therefore eliminating the need for a Fb and three TEs on the active roster. If he wasn't going to be active, he was useless.
Hot Buffalo Wings Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Every time they tried to throw him the ball, he didn't catch it. Why were they throwing him the ball. Bye Frank. I can't remember one instance of him dropping a ball thrown his way. He has caught a couple TDs in his day.
QB Bills Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 It's a 'meh' move. But you know we have to keep the kickoff specialist on the team. Whose specialty is kicking it out of bounds.
Fixxxer Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Teams could not stop the FB dive when he ran it. I liked him more as a runner than as a pure blocker. I hope he does well if he's picked up by other team.
HOUSE Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 OH NOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo This means another 15 years of rebuilding
Solomon Grundy Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Yet Lee Smith remains. Marrone's son in law? Teams could not stop the FB dive when he ran it. I liked him more as a runner than as a pure blocker. I hope he does well if he's picked up by other team. Agreed!! Shoulda used him more to run into that horrible interior Oline.
Lv-Bills Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 T Minus 6 days until the New England Patriots sign Frank Summers! Watch and See.
TSOL Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Does anyone have a fullback on their roster anymore? I love that position. Even the name alone is so bad a**! Think about it, hes a fullback, not half back, FULL BACK! Just sounds big n tough

John from Riverside Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 It is really interesting how much they seem to like Gray (whom I like as well)
Campy Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Yet Lee Smith remains. Yes, every team should release a TE so they can keep a FB who isn't even good enough to be active on game days. Solid plan.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Wear it watching Sabres games. That seems to be done too.
