eball Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 @BuffRumblings The #Bills' offense is missing opportunities on third downs. A breakdown: http://sbnation.com/e/7180874 Good lord, that is frustrating. Three excellent play designs and three bad results.

nucci Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Thank you for posting this...Hackett takes way too much heat on this board for mistakes that the players are making. The tape doesn't lie: three plays that show a wide open target in the middle of the field, where the QB need only make a throw that any college QB should make...that's what it looked like from the stands too. I think Orton is throwing too quickly because he doesn't want to get hit. He waits a second or 2 and should see Freddy wide open for 1st down and game over.

Dorkington Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I hope Hackett has him run some routes, and Orton recognizes when he's inevitably wide open against some poor LB.

The Raiders are going to try to keep from moving up on this dubious list by attempting to knock off the visiting Bills Sunday. The Bills are 8-6 and their playoff hopes are alive. ESPN Bills reporter Mike Rodak and Raiders reporter Bill Williamson preview the game: Six Raiders ruled out for Bills’ game The Oakland Raiders have taken a beating during this rough, 2-12 season. Oakland has 13 players on injured reserve and six additional players were ruled out for Sunday’s home finale against Buffalo. The six players are defensive backs Tarell Brown and Chimdi Chekwa, tackle Menelik Watson, receivers Vincent Brown and Denarius Moore and tight end Brian Leonhardt. The Raiders need to add just one player to the inactive list Sunday. Cornerback D.J. Hayden (back) and defensive tackle C.J. Wilson (knee) are both listed as questionable. Hayden was limited in practice Friday. With Brown and Chewka out, Hayden, who’d start for Brown, is needed. Raiders' Practice Recap - December 19
