Coach Tuesday Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Anyone? Just wondering if he gets credit for a sack as well. Still can't believe that D kept two HoF QBs out of the endzone in consecutive weeks...
Kelly the Dog Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Yep. A tackle and sack and forced fumble in the stats. It was our only sack.
Taro T Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Anyone? Just wondering if he gets credit for a sack as well. Still can't believe that D kept two HoF QBs out of the endzone in consecutive weeks... He should.
Captain Hindsight Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 The only thing I want to know is if Mario still has a mini fridge in his locker
Kelly the Dog Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Still can't believe that D kept two HoF QBs out of the endzone in consecutive weeks... It's been said already in other places but cannot be overstated. In the two games, Manning and Rodgers were 31-62 for 358 yards and no TDs, 4 INT and a fumble for a safety. Amazing.
YoloinOhio Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 The only thing I want to know is if Mario still has a mini fridge in his locker a stainless steel, sub zero.

That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Anyone? Just wondering if he gets credit for a sack as well. Still can't believe that D kept two HoF QBs out of the endzone in consecutive weeks... Oui.
smuvtalker Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 It's been said already in other places but cannot be overstated. In the two games, Manning and Rodgers were 31-62 for 358 yards and no TDs, 4 INT and a fumble for a safety. Amazing. No other way to put it. Enough good things cannot be said about this defense. Schwartz deserves a TON of credit for what he has done with this group. It seems like even when a player goes down, we don't miss a beat. We had no sacks last week, and still entered today's game ranked first in sacks. And even though we only had one sack today, in the last two games we have gone against not only two sure-fire, first ballot hall of famers, but two quarterbacks with arguably the two quickest releases in the NFL. I am damn proud of our defense, and I pray that the stars do align, and we somehow find a way into the playoffs, because it would be a shame to have a defense this unbelievable not participating in the post season.
Freddie's Dead Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. And if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. And if the Queen had balls, she'd be King.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. That said, if Jordy doesnt make a fabulous play to deflect the ball away from Gilmore, it's a pick six and the defense is even better. Nelson's TD drop is a wash because he made that great play to prevent a TD that hardly anyone makes.
ProcessAccepted Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. Really!!!!
GG Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. Possibly, but that's what a punishing D will do to the opposition. They start hearing footsteps.
Coach Tuesday Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 Possibly, but that's what a punishing D will do to the opposition. They start hearing footsteps. Probably right. Hope they can get in Brady's head in two weeks. Sick of being their doormat.
Kelly the Dog Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Possibly, but that's what a punishing D will do to the opposition. They start hearing footsteps. He was looking for Aaron Williams at the last second. Even Nelson's post game quote was telling. He said "I short-armed it." You don't short arm a wide open pass in perfect stride unless you hear footsteps. Otherwise you just drop it.
BUFFALOKIE Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 (edited) Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. Jody got scared. Can't blame him. Edited December 15, 2014 by THE KIKO MONSTER
The Big Cat Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Even the ghosts on our defense hit hard as !@#$. That's one thing we've seen these past few weeks: go ahead and catch the ball in front of us, you'll get lit the !@#$ up when you do. Then, as the game goes on, suddenly receivers get a bit more tentative. Agree 100% with GG and Kelly that our defense created that drop.
Bronc24 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Quite a performance. That said, if Jordy hangs onto that pass it's quite possibly a different outcome. He didn't.
