26CornerBlitz Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 James Starks on his homecoming game (1:48) Green Bay Packers running back James Starks was available to the media on Sunday, Dec. 14, following the Packers' 21-13 loss to the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Bills' defense stifles Aaron Rodgers, cements spot near top of NFL Aaron Rodgers won't need to double-check this one: The Buffalo Bills' defense is for real. Any questions about the unit -- which were fair after flimsy outings earlier this season against Philip Rivers and Tom Brady -- were quieted with an emphatic thud Sunday when the Bills turned Rodgers' first career start at Ralph Wilson Stadium into a nightmare. Entering the game at the forefront of the MVP discussion and as arguably the game's best quarterback this season, Rodgers was held to a 34.3 passer rating -- the worst of his career -- in a 21-13 Bills win over the Green Bay Packers, one that kept the Bills (8-6) alive in the AFC playoff hunt.
Rocky Landing Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 If we had a top tier QB this line would look really good. Today though is not the day to go on about all that. We just beat a top tier team, Playoffs are still possible, first time with 8 wins in 10 years. Good day to be a Bills fan. This team is really close to being a powerhouse again. I'm going to completely disagree with this. We have an average QB, and the O-line looked utterly horrible. I just don't know how better QB play is going to elevate these guys. Maybe if we had a QB who was the slightest bit mobile, and could run away when the pocket falls apart after 2.2 seconds, we wouldn't notice just how bad they played today, but probably not. Our O-line is a mess!
Prickly Pete Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 im not offended. They are a mediocre team but have an ELITE defense. The offense is as bad as the defense is great. It adds up to mediocre.
BilLions Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 And so how does he celebrate? Our friends catch up with him at Red Robin after the game and he takes photo with them. The man is superhuman and so down to earth at the same time. For a poor offensive day for the Bills he made critical yards in typical Fred fashion.

26CornerBlitz Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 Observations: Bills 21 - Packers 13 By Joe Buscaglia With the way things have gone for the franchise since the turn of the century, the 2014 Buffalo Bills are in rarified air. For the first time in almost 10 years to the day, the Bills have secured at least a .500 record in an individual season. And, the 2014 version got to the eight-win plateau in style: with a win over a Hall of Fame quarterback in the making and a bonafide Super Bowl contender. The Bills upset the Green Bay Packers 21-13 and kept themselves firmly in the hunt for the postseason. Some observations from the game:
26CornerBlitz Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 NFL Week 15 Grades: Bills prove that Packers are beatable Bills 21, Packers 13 D+ The Bills defense was good on Sunday, but it also helped that Aaron Rodgers was off his game. The Packers quarterback was erratic and never seemed to be on the same page as his receivers. The Packers defense should definitely get some credit here though: One week after being torched by the Falcons, the defense kept Green Bay in this game. A In the past two weeks, the Bills defense has had to go up against Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. Usually a defense in that situation would get carved up, but not the Bills. Rodgers and Manning combined for zero touchdown passes, four interceptions and averaged 179 yards.
JC2002 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Rodgers and the Pack won the superbowl in '11 with one of the worst offensive lines in playoff history Actually GB had a bunch of O-line injuries but that line was ranked about 11th and was actually pretty good up the middle

1B4IDie Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Did Bills give rest of NFL the blueprint to beat Packers? (3:05) Step 1 : Have one of the best D-Lines in NFL History. Step 2: Hope the WRs drop a half dozen passes. Good Luck repeating that blueprint.
