Stads Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Who do you think/should be selected to the Pro Bowl this year? I think Dareus has the best chance. Mario might have a shot too. Obviously Gay is a lock if the AFC opts for a kickoff specialist. Kiko also makes it, but everyone already knew that.
The Wiz Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) The guys that get the most votes at their individual positions. That being said, our defensive front 4 will get it (MW, KW, MD, JH) Long shots: Sammy and Carpenter Edited December 14, 2014 by The Wiz
papazoid Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Mario and dareus. that's it from buffalo. kyle might be an alternate again.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Mario and Dareus. Aaron Williams deserves to make it (IMO) but he won't.
Fixxxer Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Mario and Dareus are in. I don't think Hughes will lure votes from the likes of Houston, Von Miller and Ware.
Stads Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Houston and Miller considered LBs, whereas Hughes is a DE?
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Houston and Miller considered LBs, whereas Hughes is a DE? I believe you're right.
metzelaars_lives Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Gilmore has had a better season than Aaron Williams but that's just my opinion.
rumblefish Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 usually, all star, or pro bowl candidate's come from previous year body of work or reputation, most time it's a popularity contest so don't be disappointed if Carpenter is the only one to get the nod as starter, others may be voted as alternates
smuvtalker Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I think Mario and Dareus are locks, I also think Dan Carpenter could be selected as the kicker for the AFC. I think Glenn should deserve a mention at LT...

Webster Guy Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 mario, dareus, kyle and sammy possible alternates. Lee Smith might have a shot but they dont count sucking at catching, blocking and running. They also don't count getting stupid offsides, unsportsmanlike conduct and fighting after every play.
Wooderson Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) I think Gilmore should be in the discussion, but I don't think he's gotten the recognition he deserves. He's played far and above what I expected this year and is becoming that lockdown corner that we thought we had drafted. Shutting down Demaryius Thomas and Jordy Nelson in back to back weeks is an award in its own. Also, if we were to talk TEAM MVP's, I would think Corey Graham would be a worthy candidate. Think about what he's done for this defense. He's been great. Edited December 17, 2014 by Wooderson
machine gun kelly Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Glenn took a step back and I love the guy, but he won't get it. Our front four will be in the conversation. If Kyle gets it, it is based on his reputation. Hughes should get the love this year. Gillmore and A. Williams you'd love to see as an alternate, but for CB, guys like Hayden, Revis, Browner, and Talib will get the nod.
1B4IDie Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) The D Line. Last year we had 3 members of the DLine and this year we got better. All 4 should go. Carpenter and Schmidt are actually realistic options based on stats. No one on offense. If Easely was healthy all season he should go as a special teamer. The week he comes back he continues with those just blown up tackles on Punt returns that usually happen once a season but he gets 1 a game. Edited December 17, 2014 by Why So Serious?
KD in CA Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Hopefully no one. It adds leverage during contract negotiations.
Fadingpain Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Pros? Who cares? It's nice for the individual players to receive accolades from their peers, but the only thing worse than the Pro Bowl is the NHL all-star game. Both concepts should be scrapped immediately.
