YoloinOhio Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Was it just me or does anyone else think that Rex was sending a message in the Dolphins game? He refused to let Smith pass. It was like saying that Smith is not his guy, never was. yes
Tenhigh Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 @ProFootballTalk: Geno Smith: I've shown flashes of being a Pro Bowl quarterback http://t.co/Yj49HSJAqc Fixed.
YoloinOhio Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Fixed. literally laughed out loud
Manther Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 and with that Geno has now put himself on every "random" drug test the NFL has to offer. Way funny
papazoid Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Jets will be using their 1st pick on a QB.
YoloinOhio Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 2m2 minutes ago Rex Ryan on Geno Smith's comment that he's shown "flashes" of being Pro Bowler: "Yeah... and then he hasn't." #nyj
Nanker Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 If anything, the Geno Smiff experiment proves one thing: Todd McShay and Kiper would be better off evaluating talent on The Voice View. Fixed that fer ya there.
BarleyNY Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) Must be a lot like hitting a couple beautiful drives and knocking down a 35 foot putt on your way to a round of 117. Edited December 10, 2014 by BarleyNY
Dennis in NC Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 But that's like Orton or EJ or Fitz, or Derek Carr saying it too. Most QB's have shown flashes at some point, it doesn't mean they should say it out loud to anyone. The good ones let their body of work speak for themselves. I think you've got it, Mark. Right there.
johnnychemo Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 @ProFootballTalk: Geno Smith: I've shown flashes of being a Pro Bowl quarterback http://t.co/Yj49HSJAqc Yeah, I remember that play....

zow2 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 That is too funny. Jets picked a good year to suck though. If they get Winston, he will torment us for years to come. Despite being a clown off the field, i think he's going to be an excellent pro QB. Glad we enjoyed those 2 blowouts this year.
YoloinOhio Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 @MMehtaNYDN: One front office exec on Geno Smith's Pro Bowl comment: “I literally put my hands over my eyes & said, ‘Why, Geno?" http://t.co/cbFNnfRiOS
PromoTheRobot Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Must be a lot like hitting a couple beautiful drives and knocking down a 35 foot putt on your way to a round of 117. Over 9 holes. That is too funny. Jets picked a good year to suck though. If they get Winston, he will torment us for years to come. Despite being a clown off the field, i think he's going to be an excellent pro QB. Glad we enjoyed those 2 blowouts this year. All QBs are franchise coming out of college. Kind of like how all babies are born really cute.
rumblefish Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 you know what they say "opinions are like........" and now as Paul Harvey used to say: "the rest of the story"

I would not be surprised to see Jameis play similar to Geno in the NFL. Turnover machine.
