Dragonborn10 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 He has not been running well most of the year. Still seems to block well and catch well. I would rather see Brown and Dixon carry the ball.
johnwalter Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 ...this is not going to end well for you...
xsoldier54 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 In fact, I think just the opposite. Fred should come out and be replaced by Dixon on third or fourth and short situations.
boyst Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 He is our best back. Now we need to decide is that an indictment for the quality of Fred Jackson or the lack of quality in our remaining RB's?
Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Read my post yesterday ? Like I said Fred runs with cement shoes.
buffalo2218 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Fred's been awesome and I'm glad he's a Bill, but with that being said, he did look pretty slow in Denver. Maybe he's still a bit hampered by that groin injury, but he did look slow
FireChan Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Fred averaged a little over 4 YPC against Denver, and it would've been well over 5 if that 30 yard run didn't come back. Not bad for a "step slow, cement shoes" back.
Tintonfallsbillsfan Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 He will next year It is a great role for him

Tampa Bob Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Just for the record, expect a 2 week suspension. Anytime I have said something not wonderful about him, I get a suspension. That being said, he is amazing and he is the heart and soul of our team. He may be the slowest and one of the least productive starting running backs in the league, but we wouldn't be where we are today without him. Butterball, is that OK or should be expecting another suspension?

Dragonborn10 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 I didn't say he shouldn't play. And I should clarify that he should play in almost any shot gun formation regardless of the down. I would rather see Brown or Dixon carrying more. If they are on the field then they should go out for a pass and leave Lee Smith to block.
