The Big Cat
As someone else said, MW will probably speak out soon. He seems the type to do so. I'm dying to hear what was going on. ...me too, but I'm not taking HIS version at face value.
CountDorkula
Well, that's incredibly false and misleading. 11 TD's as a rookie. 3 the following year 9 the year after that 2 last year 1 this year. Well the good thing is this offense is so damn good that we didn't even need to try him out to see if he could help in any way.

Oh, we did try him out. He caught 8 balls for 142 yds (80 of which came on a busted coverage). You probably just blinked and missed it.

The Big Cat
Yea what did i make up? Seriously? At zero points in his career could anyone say he "averages 8 TD'S a year"
Kelly the Dog
Okay. So you're comfortable making **** up then. Okay. He got hurt in the 5th game last year. They let him play in the sixth game but it was clear he couldn't run so they IRd him. He played one third of a season and had two TDs. That is 6 for the year. That averages 11, 3, 9, and 6 averages out to 7.25 a season. That's more than 95% of the league, over four years.
The Big Cat
But that didn't stop you. Sorry, what was I thinking? MARRONE SUCKS FIRE HIM NOW

thewildrabbit
Any way it's sliced, nobody can pretend that this wasn't one of the most uncomfortable/poorly handled/weirdly publicized player tenures in franchise history. This whole situation with Williams has been weird this year. Having a known red zone threat inactive when the team is last in red zone TD's. Then giving his spot to a special teams coverage player when the team has an extra kick on the roster to kick balls out of the end zone.

FireChan
I make $10 million a year. If we extrapolate from Orton's Jets game, he threw 64 TD's this year. Get that man a new contract!
Kelly the Dog
I make $10 million a year. Good for you. That has nothing to do with anything. Actually, investigating it a little more. He was playing with a sore hamstring for several games and gutted it out. He missed the sixth game of the season totally, and tried again in game seven (his sixth). Then they sat him because it was torn. So the vast majority of the one third of a season he played with a bad hamstring. The three seasons he played healthy he averaged 7.67 TDs a game. http://www.buccaneers.com/news/article-smith/Williams-Headed-to-Injured-Reserve/163955f0-bbd6-4b45-9853-1e0484eef0ba

He had a tough training camp early on and looked like he was favoring it a bit. Heck, there were stupid reports about how he was in danger of not even making the team in the summer. GO BILLS!!! Bubba Gump
Hogan is real good at 6 yd catches, then not knowing where the first down marker is. He's also good at having enough yardage for a first down, but then deciding to go backwards and get tackled short of the first down. Hogan is mediocre at best. Not really sure how MW would have done since our idiot coach didn't use him enough. Even when Marrone was forced to dress Williams, he left him on the bench. Marrone is a joke. He even admitted today that he didn't know Hughes was benched and not on the field for well over a quarter.
