Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Bryce Brown is being wasted. So much more speed and explosiveness. Freddy is SOOOO SLOOOOOOOW on anything outside. Freddy only picks up yards when wide open and then is quickly caught. With Freddy getting most rb reps and Goodwin --0 red zone threat over Mike Williams. They are shooting their self in the foot. I love Freddy but his time is done.

Optometric Insight Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Freddy churned out some yards after contact today though. He may be slow but he's strong. Â And my #1 reason to get rid of this coaching staff is because of the misuse of players; no reason Mike Williams shouldn't be out there and no reason Goodwin isn't running fly routes off of play action and him and Sammy aren't running some screens a few times a game

Some poor screens were thrown and some well-defended runs were there too, but Freddy had a fine game. And his blitz pick ups were most needed.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 Some of those screens and dumps to freddy,if thrown to Bryce would be huge gains. SOOOOOO SLoooooooow. Bryce seems just as strong to me. Explosive, not churning.
boyst Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 if this is your gripe after todays game then you either don't know football or didn't watch the game the right way.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 If the dumps and screens to Freddy ,were thrown to Bryce they would be huge gains. Explosive ,not churning. Â Get real Boy.
TPS Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Freddy's big run was brought back on another phantom call.
Jkgobills Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Freddy is the single consistent bright spot on this roster over the past several years. Â Unfortunately, time has caught up with him. During the game in which he injured his groin you could see evidence of heavy legs prior to the injury. The groin tear happened while making a basic football move, and occurred without outside contact from another player. Perhaps another sign of the accumulated wear and tear. Â My guess is he is still 50% injured and playing on guts and heart because he knows it's his last season. Â Losing CJ Spiller in the same game we "lost" Freddy's legs was too much for the offense to overcome, and FJax is doing what he can to help the team win games in December. Â IF these are Fred Jackson's final games, it will be our privilege to cheer him on regardless of how his legs look. We would be much worse without him.

Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 Waiting for that kiddy. How original.
Pirate Angel Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Problem is brown has a fumbling problem, so he is wasting his own talent
MRM33064 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Fred Jackson has enough heart to power those legs a little longer. That guy belonged with the Polian/Levy/Kelly teams.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 I`ve seen Freddy fumble before.Near the goal. Any way he`s done. Enjoy him the rest of the year.

He still has one more good year left in him.
White Linen Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I agree he looks incredibly slow but what's more incredible is how he ends up gaining yards after contact. I can't figure out how he's doing it because beyond heart there's nothing special about his skills.
DC Tom Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Today was the first game where I started thinking he's finally showing his age. I don't think he's done...but I'm starting to think the end is in sight.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 Yeah if those were Bryce legs in the open. See ya. Like I said Freddy has heart but he`s so damn Sloooooooow.
