boyst Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Absolutely. My brother's wedding anniversary. My brothers = the day we drafted Whitner.
DDD Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I salute those men who perished that day and all those who fought and died in WWII. God bless our vets particularly of that era and God bless America.
ExiledInIllinois Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 My brothers = the day we drafted Whitner. The day we drafted Donte "Hitner" Whitner was the day of my son's First Communion. My brother wanted Cutler... Boy was he bloody mad: 'Donte who!!!" We had JP!! My wife's friend that grew up in Chicago is a big Blackhawks fan and generally one of the few true blue Chicago hockey fans out there, going way back. I remember, Sabres riding high... People from BFLO came for my son's Communion. I think we were more focused on hockey then. Well, I remember the friend from Chicago's quote from that weekend: "Hey! We have a hockey team in Chicago too! I guess the hockey bandwagon wasn't fired up in Chicago back then?
