DJasper Probincrux III Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 This FWIW, I kinda like the new you, but you did do a complete 180 from years of extreme homerism, on a dime, sometime around week 5. Once again, Carpenter has a strained groin. Kicking off puts him at greatest risk of injury.
Bronc24 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Once again, Carpenter has a strained groin. Kicking off puts him at greatest risk of injury. There's no room for facts when C. Biscuit is on his anti-Marrone crusade.
Captain Caveman Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Doug Marrone is just an ahead of his time genius. Is Gay the richest person in the world on the amount he actually works? Not even close dude, my guess would be one of the Waltons.
Max997 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Do you realize there's only been 6 kickoff tds? With the new rules (no wedges & kicking off from the 35), the kick return game is severely hampered. Again, I like doing what good teams so. Good teams don't waste a roster spot on a kickoff guy when we have a million dollar kicker. And our red zone offense is one of the worst in the NFL. Mike Williams was known as being a good redzone target. Could dress him. And just because something never happened, doesn't mean it can't. We lost Spiller and Jackson in one game. But why second guess Pinstripe Bowl game champion Marrone. I didn't realize having good special teams coverage meant you just didn't give up TD returns. How about just preventing teams from having long returns and not just TDs? There is obviously something else going on with Mike Williams so let's not act he isn't active bc of the kickoff specialist You have failed to offer even one scenario where having a kickoff specialist has cost them yet continue to complain about it. Look at the inactives today and tell me who would hv been active without the kickoff specialist? Bite me. Only on this board can I go from homer to complainer. We are wasting a historic defense because of crappy offense. And we have 2 kickers. Awesome. Bc that player they would have instead of the second kicker would be the difference....unbelievable Edited December 7, 2014 by Max997
Deranged Rhino Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Kicking teams, all around, were terrible today. They cost the Bills a lot.
Bubba Gump Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) And Marrone using Gay on the onsides kick, when Carpenter is a career 2/4 in onsides kicks was just baffling to me. Then Gay can't even skip the ball 10 yards? Gay was absolutely useless today. Could have had Sommers in there, especially for the 3rd and 1 when they ran a pass play that was incomplete.
