It's in My Blood Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 If we can't resign Jerry, I'd like us to bring in Orakpo.
CSBill Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Surprised that Hughes is not there, but that may mean he will be affordable for the Bills. Hardy? NOOOOO! Iupati? Yeessssssss! Edited December 6, 2014 by CSBill
26CornerBlitz Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Surprised that Hughes is not there, but that may mean he will be affordable for the Bills. Hardy? NOOOOO! Iupati? Yeessssssss! He's there: Honorable mention: Greg Hardy, Devin McCourty, Jared Odrick, Jerry Hughes, Chris Harris, Jason Worilds, Cliff Avril, Pernell McPhee, Brian Orakpo, Michael Crabtree, Nick Fairley, Jordan Cameron, Jeremy Maclin, Torrey Smith, C.J. Spiller, Brandon Flowers, Ryan Mathews, Mark Ingram, Cecil Shorts, Jabaal Sheard, Mark Sanchez, Brian Hoyer
White Linen Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Jerry Hughes isn't going anywhere. I like Revis or Flowers and I'd love to take a shot at Cameron Jordon.

Concussion history of Jordan Cameron is concerning. Missed 5 straight games now. Edited December 7, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
White Linen Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Concussion history of Jordan is concerning. Missed 5 straight games now. Agreed it's a concern, but his upside in terms of talent is special.
Agent 91 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Orakpo was a college DE and I am surprised there is not much love for fairley.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Top 10 impending free agents Beyond the Bills' own pending UFAs, is there anyone on this list the team should pursue? For me it's: Definitely Iupati and it depends on who we lose about the rest. Although a TE and Darelle Revis would be nice.
NewEra Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 If we can get iupati for 6 mill....and resign Hughes for the 10+ he's gonna get, I'm all for it. Hughes #1 priority. Searcy, #2. Other guards in the league #3. Keep our D intact and try and upgrade interior OL vis FA and the draft. KEEP THIS DEFENSE INTACT. Or suffer. That's my opinion.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Iupati is probably thinking he's going to be the next bank-breaking OG. I mean, if Andy Levitre got $8M/year average, Iupati should be looking for $9M. For me, that's terrible value. I'm more interested in Clint Boling from Cincinnati as a FA OG. him too
SF Bills Fan Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 It is reassuring to know that we have an owner with very deep pockets. I'd like to see Hughes stick around.
Big C Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 If we can't resign Jerry, I'd like us to bring in Orakpo. He is always hurt though.
NoSaint Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Orakpo was a college DE and I am surprised there is not much love for fairley. We have two pro bowl DTs so not surprised about a lack of attention From that list Avril is a guy I could see reuniting with Schwartz for way less than Hughes if hughes walks
aristocrat Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Hardy would be great here...actually randomly ran into him down here and he brought it up that he'd love to play on this line. Revis would be great also.
Beerball Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Looking at this list, if we are not able to resign Hughes, we should make a run at JPP. That would be an improved line if he can (like the article even suggests) find his earlier form of his career. Guards? Hmm... I like Iupati but these injuries concern me. Like bandit said: Clint Boling. However, I think he's resigned pronto. That's a big if. If the Bills didn't pay for Levitre then they aren't going to break the bank for Iupati either. No one on that list is worth the money they will command, IMO. Better off focusing on signing our own and trying to find OG solutions in the draft. Different organization.
Kirby Jackson Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Jerry Hughes isn't going anywhere. I like Revis or Flowers and I'd love to take a shot at Cameron Jordon. Just to be clear the FA is Jordan Cameron the TE not Cameron Jordan the pass rusher.
RCOHEN13 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Wow. Hughes not even in the top 10. I suspect he is on the top 6 of most player personnel departments. Good to see he's undervalued and possibly affordable. After back to back 10 sack seasons and the emphasis on pass rush to slow down these high powered O's... he's gonna get at least 10+ mil a yr and considering he's still pretty young, possibly a 6+ yr deal
Sojourner Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 That's a big if. Only cause you sized it so.
Rob's House Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Surprised that Hughes is not there, but that may mean he will be affordable for the Bills. Hardy? NOOOOO! Iupati? Yeessssssss! Why the emphatic no on Hardy? Is it just because he's got a DV charge or is there more to it? From what I understand he's a very effective DE. Edited December 7, 2014 by Rob's House
Green Lightning Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 If we want to re-sign Hughes, that'll be it for the big FA signings. You'll have to look at second-tier guys at that point. This is right. And I'd be happy with it.
