Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 QBs have been horrible. Thats it. Glenn will be fine.
White Linen Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I think we're so spoiled by Glenn and how quietly he's become one of the best tackles in the game - that when he slips a bit we act like somethings wrong with him. Philosophies change with new coaches and they effect every player.
truth on hold Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I wonder how much can be attributed to Orton being such a statue. Gotta make de's job a lot simpler knowing exactly which spot the QB will be every time he drops back
GunnerBill Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 He has had a couple of dodgy games this year, yesterday being one. He has had a worse season than last year but that is because last year he played at an all world level. Was it 2 sacks in 16 games? Phenomenal.

I guess I am wondering if the sacks (I believe it was 1.5) allowed last year was partly due to playing 15 games with a mobile QB?
bowery4 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I think he'll be fine but they have really bunched up that line as of late and it really doesn't help the line, I really can't see why they think it works. And yes they do set better picks but I thought Watkin's penalty was also a result of it, I am surprised we haven't gotten pick penaties this year. I hate the bunch philosophy. Yes, let's let them put 8 in the box because we have 7 there? Oh and then let's run up the middle! WTF? Chan had this part of the game right (sort of) the spread gives the O a numbers advantage by taking people out of the center of the field.
