machine gun kelly Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 There's 6 teams and growing getting rid of cheerleaders or haven't had them in years. I really don't care, but they are not the most attractive group. Just look at some of the warm weather teams cheerleaders.

Those idiots on the drums, that play the same exact cadence all the time, are so annoying and don't get anyone pumped. If they don't want to bring back the Jills fine, but get rid of the other idiots too.

Like stand by the goalpost when field goals are being kicked and react accordingly. That'd be much better than the jills and/or drummers.

If they don't want to bring back the Jills fine, but get rid of the other idiots too. This is a big deal to me. It's part of the whole nfl experience to me. I dislike the fact that my favorite sports team does not have cheerleaders. It's embarassing. The only way I would be ok with it IF ALL NFL TEAMS GOT RID OF THEM. But since the majority of teams still have them, it bothers me. No. Not 100%. Yes I can function in life. But I dont like it.

This one has since trumped all other "who gives a ****" threads. Sorry, but the band is so much better, actually adds to the game. I've never seen the purpose of cheerleaders anywhere outside of high school basketball. First, it's a small enclosed area and you could hear them, second, I was 17 and wanted to see the hot chicks in very little clothing. With the advent of, oh I don't know, the Internet, I can't imagine why you'd need to see mediocre looking women half clothed while trying to watch a football game. Please dont post a bad picture of the Jills to say "See they are ugly/mediocre" Even the hot weather cheerleaders have some so-so women in their squad too. I really dislike all the "jills are ugly" posts.

But that's my opinion and if you really enjoyed them, I also wouldn't care if they came back. They're a complete non-issue to me.
