Steelers (7-5) @ Cincy (8-3-1) (1)

Chargers (7-5) v New England (9-3) (2)

Ravens (7-5) @ Miami (7-5) (3)

Chiefs (7-5) @ Arizona (9-3) (4)

Browns (7-5) v Indy (8-4) (5)

Not to make the Denver game THAT much more important or anything...

well, if you swap the KC Arizona game for ours - 5 afc playoff contenders are sure to lose (but 5 are sure to win).

Chiefs playing the nfc is the only exception.

Six of the seven with the Bills at Denver is a "realistic" possibility.

expect a lot of it, with the nfl putting division games heavily in december. with the entire AFC within a couple games, there should be a few weeks coming up where just about everyone plays each other. itll be interesting to see if anyone gets hot and a gap develops or everyone splits everything and it stays incredibly tight.

The obvious outcome we all want is - Buffalo at Denver

Realistic outcomes -

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati

Baltimore at Miami

Indianapolis at Cleveland

Kansas City at Arizona

New England at San Diego - no matter what I always want the Putrids to lose

I think it's unlikely that someone separates, unless one team gets REAL hot--hotter than they've been all season.

That's why I rolled my eyes a few weeks ago when even the national pundits said it would take 11 to get in.

Shoot, at this point, it's easy to find ways that 9 will do the trick!

I've been so focused on the difficulty of the Bills remaining games, I failed to notice the challenges that the other 7-5 teams face. Amazingly, they're all facing teams with 7 or more wins.

IF the Bills beat Denver, the playoff hunt will be very interesting down the stretch. If we're truly good enough to beat the Broncos, there's a fair chance we'll go 1-1 versus NE and GB and we should beat Oakland, leaving us at 10-6.

9s not doing it for us - after this week theres atleast 3 teams at 8 (plus us hopefully) with 3 games to play. possibly more.

thats what happens when there are 12 teams .500 or better in the AFC (11 7-5 or better). everyone has winning records and will be playing each other.

i did not see the Arizona game...fair to say they are not that good with Stanton at QB?

Truly looking for opinions

I think they actually have a decent home field advantage...but my gut says KC wins that game

As many others have noted, they have only themselves to blame for being in this predicament. When you have opportunities to win games right in your grasp and don't take advantage of them, regret is the eventual sentiment.

and ill have to edit as SD is actually at 8 not 7 as the OP shows --- that means best case for us is 4 teams at 8-5 if we win this week, i believe. 9s not cutting it.

Stanton has really cratered. The Cards clearly miss Fitzgerald, but Stanton is missing receivers badly.

It's fair to say that. But they also have no running game.

But they've made a killing this year on big play opportunities. The KC dink and dunk model doesn't bode well if Arizona--at home, with that nasty defense--is playing their game.

I agree. No way the Bills get in with 9 wins.

If you are going to make that statement you have to include ....

Bills (7-5) @ Broncos (9-3) (6)

and call it 6 of 7.
