YoloinOhio Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Not too shabby returning kicks! Unsure why they continue to use Fred at times.
mrags Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Oddly because it's a trust issie and they don't want anyone to fumble. Given that Fred has fumbled on them twice this year it's pretty darn ironic.
Peace Frog Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 After Thigpen's performance, I wouldn't let McKelvin near a punt ever again.
Marv's Neighbor Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 All this time, we had the WRONG Thigpen.
YoloinOhio Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 He actually looks like he knows what he is doing on returns.
zow2 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I liked that play when he waved everyone off...the Bills guy ducked, the Browns guy just stopped (probably thinking it was a fair catch signal) and Thigpen grabbed the ball on the hop and went around the sidelines for like 15-20 yds. That showed me the dude REALLY knows what he's doing back there. Total awareness of the situation and confidently handled it. Why did they use Fred as a punt catcher on the one he nearly muffed? Is Fred known to have the best hands?

He had specifically said they signed Thigpen so they wouldn't need to use Woods or Fred back there.
