Dan Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 OK BC, I went back and looked at the tape. I saw 4 running plays where the Bills motioned a WR into the formation, dragging an extra defender into the box. I saw 4 other running plays where the TE was motioned to the point of attack, a tendency that the Browns seemed to pick up on. A lot of times is in the eye of the beholder I guess. I've seen this tendency in prior weeks, so maybe I lumped them in. It still doesn't explain the play design. I don't think I've ever seen another NFL team motion a WR into the box on a running play, but I'll be on the lookout for it and let you know if I find it. Jauron ball did it every time. Josh Reed motioned in, which ever side he stopped on, that's where the RB was going every single time. Hackett said he studied previous Bills offenses, looks like he took notes!
CardinalScotts Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What you need to do is compare to what other qb's did against the same team

Manther Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Right, because the O is supposed to score 40+ and rack up 500 yards of offense each and every week. Man, if they did that, they would be 12-0, but they are only 7-5, what's wrong with them, they should know that. But just totally ignore and forget the fact that their opponents defenses have been pretty good and doing all they can to stop the Bills O. Who knew the opposing defense was just supposed to lay down and let the Bills O do what ever they wanted. Why does everyone make excuses and say things are black and white. The offense converted two third downs and scored one TD against a team that cant stop the run....how is that a good offense. Nobody is asking for 40 points from them. I would be fine with 2 TDs a game and 40% on 3rd down. Is that unreasonable? As a fan watching them is hard and frustrating. How long does this go on. From the first drive vs. KC to first drive vs. NYJ no TD's. I watch other teams, their sets, motion and receivers and see nothing that is innovative or would confuse other teams. Yesterday was the first time at least some penalties were called against the other team's DB's. We can go back and forth but to try and defend this offense is non-sensical. Totally agree!
