YoloinOhio Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Turns out his wife was at the game and she has stayed with him, so that's good at least.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I've been noticing a trend this season where players are hurdling defenders. Apparently Austin was injured on the play where he attempted to hurdle Searcy. I've seen Boobie and other players also hurdle defenders this season. It's a pretty dangerous practice and I hope others will learn from what Austin is dealing with now. That said, I hope Austin returns to full health and resumes his career next season.

I think it was Collinsworth who said something last week about how once a guy gets hurt from trying to hurdle, it'll stop the trend.

It is because defenders are going low to "tackle" to avoid helmet to helmet penalties. Although this particular hurdle was a terrible idea with 3 Bills defenders waiting for him. Best wishes though Miles, you're my hero. I always wanted to Bang Jessica Simpson in her prime and play in the NFL.
May Day 10 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 They don't deserve to lose internal organs though I was being sarcastic... these guys absolutely deserve to get paid what they do. Such a small earning window and in a blink they can have car-crash severity injuries. Plus, someone has got to get that money and Ill side toward these guys who have all the risk, especially in the shadow of the Darryl Talley story.
mead107 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 9 year vet? Less passes coming his way. May have played his last game. Hate seeing any of them get hurt.
