If the Broncos want to be run heavy as the article above suggests, then that's fine. They will just leave the Bills in the game the entire way. Running ALOT is overrated in the NFL. If you have a QB that can get down the field in a few chunk plays that's the winning recipe. Mix in a few runs but to get points ya gotta be able to pass effectively. Manning can do that.

Here's the thing with the run heavy Broncos attack: 6 offensive lineman + 1 Lee Smith type blocking TE + Peyton + CJ Anderson at RB = 2 wide receivers. TWO. What's fascinated me since the Broncos went to this set (which they've used a lot) the last 2 weeks is this: Defensive coaches aren't altering their personnel to counteract it! Instead they're keeping base 4-3-4 defensive alignments out there, and the Broncos expanded O line is, predictably, opening big holes. You don't need 4 DBs when Peyton has 2 receivers! My prediction (and I hope it starts this week): defenses are allowed to substitute in response to offensive substitutions. Schwartz (or someone else) will begin to do this. Broncos go heavy? Bills D goes heavy! Broncos go with the regular 5 offensive linemen + Julius Thomas (as a tight end blocker, he makes a barely adequate wide receiver) + D. Thomas + Sanders + Welker, Schwartz runs out a 4-1-6 defensive alignment. The Broncos aren't as dangerous as they seem because they are, right now, essentially running 2 different offenses depending on what personnel they have on the field. The guys they're using, like Virgil Greene at TE and T Paul Cornick as the other "TE" are not mult-taskers -- they're one dimensional blockers. Defenses haven't caught on yet. They will.

Bills Focus: Winning the Quarter (4:31)

Breaking the season down by quarters, the Bills have won the first three. Now, entering the final stretch of the year the team looks to continue the trend as they make their final push towards the playoffs.

Disguising late key for Bills ‘D’

Every defense in the NFL employs disguises for their intended coverages pre-snap in the hopes of crossing up the opposing quarterback. Some QBs are easier to fool than others. Denver’s Peyton Manning is one of the tougher nuts to crack, but after seeing some previous opponents of the Broncos succeed, Buffalo may take a stab at it as well.

Buffalo Bills talk about 3 key things in effort to stop Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

How do you stop Peyton Manning?

For the last decade-and-a-half, a different NFL team has had to ask itself that question every week. For the Buffalo Bills, it's all anyone has asked about in the locker room. The Denver Broncos are on the schedule for Week 14, and most have chalked it up as a loss for the Bills. But despite the feeling of imminent doom Manning inspires, he can be stopped. He is, in fact, human, though his ability to read defenses and deliver accurate passes seems robotic.

Most recently, the St. Louis Rams were able to beat the Broncos and hold Manning's offense to seven points. They picked off the future Hall of Fame quarterback twice by disguising blitzes and getting to him early. Or maybe a team would want to use Kansas City as a blueprint. Even in a 13-point loss, the Chiefs limited Manning to 159 yards passing and a 50 percent completion rate.

Weird. The text says blue/white, the list says white/white but lists browns twice , and pic shows white/white.

I noticed that too. Seems the Bills' pregame obfuscation extends to the uniform announcement. Nice!

Week 14 “Three and Out”: Bills at Broncos

At 7-5, the Bills have their best chance at a winning record and playoff spot in many years but getting there won’t be easy. The schedule calls for them to face the Broncos, Packers, Raiders and Patriots in the next four weeks and the Bills are likely to be favorites in only the Raiders matchup unless the Patriots sit their starters in Week 17.

They’re going to need to steal at least one of the other three games and here are three questions that will have some bearing on their chances of picking up a victory in Denver this weekend.
