Deranged Rhino Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 @MatthewFairburn: Donte Whitner thinks Browns switching to Johnny Manziel was the right call. QB controversy brewing in Cleveland: http://t.co/HgPljqBtbn Well that seals it. Stick with Hoyer. why did he just lay there? Lmao. He's used to his entourage being there to help a brother up.
Doc Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Manziel himself said he was tucking the ball away and thought it was a fumble. That's refreshingly honest.
YoloinOhio Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Manziel himself said he was tucking the ball away and thought it was a fumble. @RuiterWrongFAN: Manziel admits he "never thought" fumble was an incomplete pass
jimmy10 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 why did he just lay there? Lmao. Because he got steamrolled by a very large man moving at a high rate of speed. Decades from now, wherever he is, Manziel will recall that as his "Welcome to the NFL" moment.
Rubes Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 It was an awesome play, no doubt...but I thought the KW hit on Hoyer was just vicious.
Simon Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Decades from now, wherever he is, Manziel will recall that as his "Welcome to the NFL" moment. Maybe. But tomorrow morning when he's pissing blood he's probably more likely to remember Bradham sticking him in the kidney after he went over the goalline ; - )
Deranged Rhino Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 It was an awesome play, no doubt...but I thought the KW hit on Hoyer was just vicious. Absolutely was. It made me gasp out loud while watching it. Of course, then I hit rewind just to watch it again.

Deranged Rhino Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 the one that took them out of FG range after they had picked off Orton? Yeah. Literally Hoyer was in the frame one second and then completely knocked out of it by Kyle in the next second. It was a big one.
Rubes Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Yeah. Literally Hoyer was in the frame one second and then completely knocked out of it by Kyle in the next second. It was a big one. Huge. Looked like Hoyer got shot in the chest with a shotgun.
BuffaninATL Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 ^ This I have started to say this more and more after watching the NFL this year - poor officiating is the norm not the exception, and the "integrity" of the game is suffering. I swear to God I see better officiating in the NCAA....
Kelly the Dog Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 The Bills lead the league is snotknocking.
YoloinOhio Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Guessing our game will get a lot of national coverage tomorrow due to the Johnny factor (1st TD; 1st "sit down, b*tch") Edited December 1, 2014 by YoloinOhio
FireChan Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Color me ignorant, but why is this guy super popular, but other young QBs are basically never talked about? One of the most exciting players in college history. First freshman Heisman winner. Took over a game and doled out a loss to the best college team. Extremely polarizing figure in the media.

Which always tells me a lot more than if the media likes a player or not.
FireChan Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 But teammates love him. Which always tells me a lot more than if the media likes a player or not. True. But that's not why he's so talked about.
BaaadThingsMan Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Looked like the higher-ups at HQ wanted to give JJB a chance to lead the comeback. No other explanation. I said the same thing, but nah? Right? All in all I think it was pretty cool that Johnny Football made his debut against the Bills...and that KW knocked him on his arse with the sack, fumble TD they robbed em of. Great way to welcome him to the NFL
Just in Atlanta Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Get him a coffin About the only thing missing were crossed arms like a vampire.
Pete Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Bills get jobbed big time by the refs yet again. I was sitting 5th row 20 yard line and had great view of play- we got screwed. Thankfully this time didn't affect outcome
