Talk of the Superbowl dominates the news, and to tell the truth, it's kind of redundant -- how much can you say about it? I would like to see them win, of course, but I didn't grow up here and I wouldn't describe myself as a rabid fan. The victory parade I'm really waiting for is the one down Main Street, not Broad Street. Maybe I' still crazy after these years, but I STILL BELIEVE! aussiew Posted February 2, 2005 Share Posted February 2, 2005 The sports station here in Dallas thinks that the Eagles fans who are taking out loans to buy SB packages are crazy! Typical Cowboys fans I guess. When the Bills went to Atlanta, I was a single mom, no money, no savings, and a maxed out credit card. All I had was my $1100 mortgage payment due no later than Feb 15th and a few hundred dollars in my checking account. That year, we could buy a package for $1300. I was convinced that they would win #4 appearance. Guess what I did? Then I had to come home totally broke, borrow from friends and my boss to make my mortgage payment. Would I do it again?
