CardinalScotts Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I am not a fan of this style quarterback, seems like the shelf life is 2 years RG3, Cam Newton,Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell been proven in the history of the league....not going to work as a productive qb........give them a great defense and a kick butt run game and we don't need good quarterbacking
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 People continue to be enamored with run around college QBs like RGIII, Kaepernick, and Manziel who fail to demonstrate the necessary pocket passing ability that is required for sustained success in the NFL.
billsfan_34 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Dude is ranked 34th right now out of QBs that have started. Teams have figured him out. He doesnt read defenses well and has been erratic with his passes. The most I would give for him is a Paulas Donut
FluffHead Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 San Fran would laugh at this deal even with how mediocre Kaepernick has been this year. A DE for a young QB. Riiiiiight.

26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) thank god we have EJ We know very well the book is out on him too. Edited November 29, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
Beerball Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 We know very well the book is out on him too. At least we know that he does study (vs Robert Griffin). I still have hope (I'd tell you how much but certain posters would ridicule me) that he can become a productive QB. He's got the body for it, just need to get the mind in step and trust his and his WR's ability.
NoSaint Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) thank god we have EJ I heard qbs oh his "style" only last two years - maybe we are saving the second years worth of games for a better time! Edited November 29, 2014 by NoSaint

"Obviously" not consistently. Here's to hope for his continued development.
papazoid Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 hell no, Mario for kaepernick. yes, Mario for Andrew Luck.
bigdogtim Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 And there is no way I would give up a Paula's donut for kaepernick. A mighty taco maybe
Dorkington Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I don't think Kaepernick is enough of an improvement over who we have, to make that trade.
Mark80 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Kaepernick just signed a 6 year $126M contract with $61M guaranteed. He is impossible to trade at this point.
Chef Jim Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Being from the Bay Area I've seen him play a lot. I say no. When he's in the pocket he panics too often and chooses to run a lot! Sure he's a good runner but he chooses too too often and lately he's been getting tackled for a loss or short gains. That's very frustrating.
