CodeMonkey Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Even with most analysis like my favorite (http://fivethirtyeig...d-playoff-odds/) giving the Bills about a 3% chance or so of making the playoffs, there are Bills fans here talking about week 17 deciding it Gotta love ya
jaybee Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) I'm just not willing to look at anything beyond the Cleveland Browns at this time. One game at a time fellas, one at a time. Edited November 28, 2014 by jaybee
Bill Brasky Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 BB doesn't play his guys just to mess with you. You are pretty irrelevant to us
YoloinOhio Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) BB doesn't play his guys just to mess with you. You are pretty irrelevant to us so irrelevant that you are choosing to spend your time on a Bills message board on Thanksgiving. Edited November 28, 2014 by YoloinOhio
ganesh Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Why do I think they have a chance to beat Green Bay and no chance to beat New England... Because we are talking about our Bills inability to match wits with Belichek and Brady
Jets Hater Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 BB doesn't play his guys just to mess with you. You are pretty irrelevant to us As much as I hate this statement, it's probably true. Some of us are obsessed with NE. Meanwhile, to them, we barely exist and are simply two easy W's most years for the last 14 seasons.
Cleveland Rocks? Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 As much as I hate this statement, it's probably true. Some of us are obsessed with NE. Meanwhile, to them, we barely exist and are simply two easy W's most years for the last 14 seasons. I don't think any team or coach has the ability to think this way about any team. As soon as you do, you get beat. It's not like college where the talent disparity can be really wide between teams. I don't think Belichik looks at any team as "irrelevant." Whether or not their fans do is a different story, but also doesn't matter.

Meanwhile, to them, we barely exist and are simply two easy W's most years for the last 14 seasons. I wouldn't say that. We respect you no doubt and the Bills are never 2 easy wins. I think teams' fans get obsessed with teams they feel they are chasing. I used to be obsessed with Buffalo in the 90s.
reddogblitz Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 10 - 6 with winning remaining AFC games and we're in IMHO.
Georgia Bill Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 It's over, and it's been over since the Miami loss. It's not over yet. For us, the playoffs have begun. One more loss and we are toast. If we win them all (ok stop laughing), we are in.
Pete Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Take care business and run the table and we will be a force to reckon with in playoffs
8-8 Forever? Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Anyone know if we can make the playoffs with 10-6 and those AFC wins? I know there are some tie breakers out there against us, but our overall AFC W/L record plays in as well. If we go 4-1 to close the season we will be so freaking happy the playoffs won't matter.
YoloinOhio Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 If we go 4-1 to close the season we will be so freaking happy the playoffs won't matter. i agree. But, you would need to change your screen name
Pete Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Take care business and run the table and we will be a force to reckon with in playoffs this is quite possible. We are that good. Can I get a !@#$ yeah! ?
BUFFALOKIE Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 this is quite possible. We are that good. Can I get a !@#$ yeah! ? !@#$ YEAH! The playoff calculator is fun. Several, not terribly unrealistic scenarios get us to the playoffs, even with one more loss. Other, extremely unrealistic scenarios put us in the number one seed, with New England* and Denver not even getting dates to the dance.

Now let's kick the Browns ass and get this party started!
rfk Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Thanks guys. Its going to be a B word, but I feel its going to come down to winning at NE. And even if they have home field locked up, Billy Beeeoch will play his starters just as a FU to us. And thats the way it should be, no favors, stop being a Beeeeoch.Perhaps snow will move the game to Met Life
zow2 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 IF they manage to beat Cleveland (which is a very tough game)...they probably lose to Denver so don't stress out about playoff possibilities. Just enjoy a few more Bills Sundays.
What a Tuel Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) I don't think it's stressing out. I think it is part of the fun of football and the playoff hunt. I put together a spreadsheet of the important games. Making it in at 9-7 is very unlikely because we lose practically all of the tiebreakers. 10-6 is very likely though, however we have to beat either NE or Denver in their house, not to mention take Green Bay as a assumed win. However I gave the other teams a lot of games that maybe they don't win as well. So we never know. The below puts the teams at the following: Buffalo: 10-6 (6th seed) Miami: 9-7 Kansas City: 10-6 (5th seed) San Diego: 7-9 Baltimore: 12-4 (3rd seed) Cincinatti: 9-6-1 Pittsburgh: 9-7 Cleveland: 9-7 Edited November 29, 2014 by What a Tuel
BillsBackersChicago Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 It's over, and it's been over since the Miami loss. So ur saying there's a chance?
